My stay in Taprospa Beruwala resort in Sri Lanka was outstanding. I went with my mother, wife and elder son. On our entry into the resort delicious cold drink was offered as welcome drink. The rooms were marvellous. I enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool where I have swam day and night. The sea beach in the vicinity is equally beautiful. The restaurant is awesome. The dinner is delicious with sardine fish curry and rice. I enjoyed the setting sun, the sea breeze, the cordial conduct of the Sri Lankans. It was a stay in a paradise.

The experience in Taprospa hotel in Beruwala is very romantic. Sri Lanka is a tropical country. I went in December. I enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool along with my family. I used to swim twice in a day. The sea shore at Beruwala is adjacent to Taprospa hotel. I loved the beautiful sands. We ate snacks and saw the sea waters at moon light which was brilliant experience. The rooms were good. The restaurant had beautiful dinner tables made of curved wooden works. The complimentary breakfast was awesome having bread omelette, milk, cereal flakes, idlis and other items. The fish items in dinner and lunch were awesome including the sardine fish curry. Pickles were given at the end of the food.
At night near the dinner place, a band used to play music and it was lovely experience.

One of the beautiful hotels I have seen along the sea shore. You can hit the beach in 5 minutes from your hotel room.  Depending on your room, you will get an amazing view of the sea from the balcony too.

Got to see the sun set over the horizon and was a breath taking view.
Rooms are nice and tidy and attached restaurant is also pretty good.
They have got bar downstairs so just grab a bottle of beer of your favorite cocktail and just relax along the beach!

I would recommend this for sure. Last but not the least, hotel staff was also very courteous.

The evenings in Tapro Spa resort in Sri Lanka are romantic.

It is romantic experience to stay in Taprospa hotel, Beruwala.

Beautiful hotel on the shore

Not a very good experience overall. The rooms are not that good but are not totally bad either. The light fittings & water taps are a little problem. The hotel lobby is great with good wi-fi speed. Benefit is that the shore is just 2mins walkable distance & you can see it while having meal. Food does not have choices & variety & is equally bad in taste. Avoid to stay here if possible.

Not worth the price

This hotel is covered with mosquitos. I stayed in many hotels in Sri Lanka but this was the worst. I do not recommend swimming alone at the beach here. There are many beach boys who hang around causing trouble. They made my 2 nights unpeaceful! During dinner time, I had a hard time ordering food as the hotel did not have many of the food items from the menu. Anything I asked for, the hotel said they dont have it. I have nothing nice to say about this hotel. Also wifi is only available in the lobby.

Mosquito Heven

The Hotel is old and worn out. The bedsheets, towels are tattered. No hand towels are provided. Toilets are unclean, fittings rusted. 
Food is good we had breakfast & Dinner both had a nice spread.
Would avoid staing here
