This was a few miles away from Branson but very pleasant and scenic drive.  Sheltered up in the hills; over in Kimberling City. Nice patio to sit out and watch the stars in the evening.  Unit was very lovely and contained a heart warming fireplace and a relaxing jacuzzi. I stay in one of the more modern units .  Only drawback is there is no inside swimming pool as it it seasonal only. 

Peaceful & Relaxing

We had an amazing time! Spent 7 nights (friday-Friday) the week of Thanksgiving! We had a 2 bedroom Presidental Villa on the bottom floor and absolutely loved it! Super quiet and Beautiful! Our view from the balcony was amazing! The beds were comfy with lots of pillows, the bathrooms were huge with double sinks and jacuzzi tubs!! The staff with amazing and super great!! 

Beautiful Comfy and Relaxing

I often use TripAdvisor and YouTube prior to choosing a hotel. After the you tube videos I saw (all about 3+ years old), I got the perception that it was a nice bit dated and 'tired' resort.  The reviews on trip advisor I believe depend on which building you are in. 

For our stay, we reserved a 2-bedroom accommodation and expected a dated look and feel but when we arrived, it rivaled any Disney Resort (which we stay in frequently). The 2 bedroom accommodation was absolutely beautiful!  Very clean!  Updated and very comfortable. We were in the 'Presidential' section of the complex at the end of the road. I'm not sure if all two bedroom suites are at this location or not, but they were fantastic. Two full bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a beautiful living room area and full kitchen.  Screened-in patio. It was far nicer than I expected!  

We did most of our activities off – resort, so I can't really judge the pool or activities center. The registration process was easy. However I will say that although one woman was very nice, the other woman was ... umm a bit too 'blunt' with how she talked to me. 

The location is about 30 minutes from Branson, and not a bad drive. If you are seeing a show, take an hour to get there.   We loved our stay and will use this resort again when we take another trip to the area!

Just Great!  Beautiful rooms!

The Presidential View rooms were very nice and spacious. We had four adults and two children and thought there was a lot of space. Everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes. We cooked 3/5 dinners in and enjoyed the kitchen and dining space. 
The resorts amenities were great! We loved the male pool attendant. We forget his name but he made the pool experience so fun! He greeted us as we entered and educated our family on the area! The activity center had lots of games which came in handy on the super hot days.  
The lake area was beautiful but we did not have a direct view from our window. So don’t be disappointed if you think you will have a view of the lake as shown in some pictures. 

Awesome stay!

This resort is just fine. It’s just not super nice because of the age and wear and tear on the property.  Mini golf and tennis was fun, but the tennis court needs a little TLC.  Staff is nice and the surrounding area is pretty.  

Just fine, but needs a little refresh

We enjoyed our stay very much: the unit was very spacious, especially compared to our stay in Steamboat Springs last month (and that wasn't bad). The view from our unit was so welcoming, especially as we watched the sunrise each morning. 

We were given an outdated schedule of events for activities at the resort but the lady at the reception area was able to make alternate arrangements for us. 

Branson is very close by and we were able to see a show (not much was open in January; we knew that when we made the reservation, so I'm not complaining). There were no crowds, so we were able to shop and eat at some great places in Branson.



Quiet Get Away - Shopping Spree

We were in a 2 br, 2 ba unit.  It was not at all like the pictures we saw.  It was old, cramped and had no open roomy space for a good flow.  We did not have a jetted tub, no washer/dryer, a fire place but wasn't able to use it til we searched high and low for special logs. Some furniture was so distressed (dessers and dining table) we called front desk to ask if they took inventory of the condition of such. 
 We booked through a third party and it was off season. Parking lots we're mostly empty and yet there was newer units.  In a survey we were told to request presidential units next time, depending availability.  There was no activities but the area is close to Branson(30 min) and there's other things close by.  We checked out a day early. 

I can say the beds and pillows were the best part.  The staff was helpful in assisting with a possible eft behind item.


What you see might not be what you get

I would stay here again in a nano second! We stayed in the Presidential Views units which were very spacious with a full & fully stocked kitchen (utensil-wise), a large open dining & living area with a fireplace. Patio doors leading out onto a huge deck off the back where you can see Table Rock Lake. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The staff was FANTASTIC and very helpful - we got there around 10:30 pm to check in and it was pitch dark out and we would have never found our unit... the gal that checked us in got into her van and lead us right to our unit. This was a beautiful unit and I will definitely be coming back! This location is close to Silver Dollar City and Dogwood Canyon. Ma's Diner was a great breakfast place. A little farther to the strip of Branson.. but it's nice to come back to the peacefulness and wooded surroundings. 

Picturesque Views and Spacious Hilltop Unit!

We own 5 weeks and travel frequently. This remains our favorite resort when in the Branson area. It's far enough away from all the excitement, but a short 30 minute or less drive to just about anything you could want. I like to visit after Thanksgiving to see the lights and Christmas shows. 

The Best!

The grounds and the rooms we had were all beautifully maintained. We had everything we needed in our rooms and kitchen. The views are wonderful. The fall colors were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and check in and out was quick.
