To say that my wife and I had a fantastic time is an understatement. Starting from just getting off the plane and the ease of getting there to even the simplicity of check out it was all wonderful. The place is beautiful and immaculate. The food is all delicious and fresh and if you cant find something you like then I dont know what it is you eat. Everything from food for kids to fresh tuna ceviche for the grownups. There are plenty of things to do if you are adventurous and very safe and kid friendly. There is also plenty of night life with music and dancing for just about all ages with shows and entertainment to keep you engaged. As for the service, it was outstanding. From the moment we checked the GM Dionisio and his staff took care of all our needs. Our concierge William walked us to our room and gave us a brief tour of the resort and by the time we got to our room our bags arrived. That was just the beginning. The staff on the beach were all friendly, helpful and courteous. Our team of FELIPE, FERNANDO and DIONISIO were extremely attentive and thoughtful. Make sure to ask for them if you go. We never wanted for anything and they were always there ready willing and able to assist with literally anything we asked. Our spot on the beach was always prepped for us and never a worry about our belongings if we wanted to return to the room or just walk to grab a bite to eat. We highly recommend this resort, not just for the beauty of the location, but the service and staff are second to none. OUTSTANDING JOB TO EVERYONE!!!!

AMAZING!!!!

Went with a large group for spring break (mostly high school seniors). Very friendly staff, but they do not speak much English.   Resort was nice and clean, rooms were nice.  If you want dinner reservations, you must make them early in the morning, and there were very few options because they were already booked unless you wanted to eat at 9 pm.  Beach was beautiful other than a ton of seaweed, but the service on the beach was excellent.  Did not hang out at the pools, but they looked nice.  Good resort for spring break group since the resort was large enough to accommodate everyone.  

Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa

Paradisus Palma Real was absolutely amazing! The royal service proved to be just that! Alberto, our assigned butler took care of all our needs with fine detail so we didn’t have to take time to stress about anything whatsoever! The room was better than expected as well. All the people attending to us is what made this trip special. Thank you Lee at RS pool bar for the best Bloody Mary we’ve ever had everyday! Butler Carlos, Nicholas, Raphael and Martin deserve thanks too for being accommodating daily. Great beach and turquoise ocean view!

The only draw back to the resort is the unheated pools. 

Royal Service!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for my wife's 30th birthday. We had a great time!

I would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a fun, beautiful, and perfectly located hotel in Punta Cana, DR. They have about 7 or 8 really great restaurants that you can make reservations at each night. They also have several bars and a night club on the grounds.

However, with all of that, the best part of our experience was the attention, friendly, and loving staff. Some people on the staff that I'd like to call out for their exceptional service are Dalmis who was our concierge and was there for anything we needed. Also, Zenovia who worked in the restaurant Cococina Olio. She was so accommodating, friendly, and personable. The rest of the team at the restaurant, including the Chef Roman, and hostess Diana were also really nice and attentive!

Nice rooms; Beautiful property; Amazing staff; Great restaurants; Located on the beach

We have been Club Melia members for 10 years and are delighted with the experience. We love the Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana for many reasons: the welcoming feeling you have when you check in and are greeted by the Club Melia staff like family returning home. Dionisio is always there to greet us and has insured that has his staff has followed thru on any requests. Gabriel, our concierge follows up thru out our stay and is always surprising us with special treats. The experience is consistent thru out the resort. at the pool Georges very attentive to make sure we were comfortable or had a drink. He was especially wonderful with my 88 yr young mom. A real plus is that the restaurant management and wait staff are consistent year to year and may be in different restaurants and promoted to new positions but they always remember us and greet us warmly. Too many to mention but Juan Azar and Yudi  at Fuego, Felix at Palazzo,  Willy and Anthony  at Rare,  Jose at Olio just a few. For an all inclusive the food is very good and with lots of variety and the chefs are very helpful in complying with special diet or food requests. My only constructive comments would be in reference to entertainment. The large shows have not changed in years and although there are several large areas to gather, like the upper lobby bar entertainment was kept at the Gabi beach bar even though the wind was tremendous and there was often rain in the evening. Not sure why singers and small combos have been eliminated from the upper lobby bar. Best night was Monday nights with 3 great singers. The resort has recovered well from the fall 2017 hurricane season still a few issues to iron out like how to keep sand from blowing from the beach onto the walkways and into the pools but sure that is in the works. Would love to see a furniture  update to the suites for Club Melia, hope that is in the works for 2018-19!

Always a wonderful vacation, welcomed like family!

Once again, we were delighted to spend a week at the Palma Real! The hotel is as beautiful as ever, and continues to provide top-of-the-line cuisine and amenities. The environment is wonderful: relaxing, beautiful, and luxurious. The staff is friendly, considerate, and eager to make the stay as memorable as possible. We wanted to acknowledge some of the people who did just that: Raul at the Family Concierge pool, Obeity and Filipe at the beach, Edwin at Naos, and Juan Carlos at Passion. Muchas gracias!!!!

Another fabulous vacation at Palma Real!

Everything about the place was EXCELLENT !!. Super friendly people, extra clean rooms and terrific food and plenty of it. Love the atmosphere. Grounds and beach were always clean. All employees were dressed professional.

Best vacation yet

This is a beautiful place.  The DR is a beautiful place.  BUT...it would be nice if a resort this beautiful would have more than ONE person who knew what they were doing.

Upon arrival, we were not told anything...where are room was, where we were allowed to sit on the beach (not being exclusive - which we were pressured to upgrade to, but didn't need), where the restaurants were...just the basics of an introduction to an all-inclusive.  A map of the place on arrival would be a GREAT idea!

When we were driven to our room in a golf cart, walked up three flights of stairs (the one elevator for the place was broken) and left, only to find the ceiling was leaking unto one of the beds, we didn't even know how to get back to check-in!  After 3 phone calls of "we'll be right there", we schlepped all the luggage back in the general direction of the check-in desk, and took a LONG time to get another room.

The next day we were told on the beach to "go over there" by some guy (that wound up being in charge of the beach...hello, pointing to the east doesn't help me!), and were TOTALLY FRUSTRATED with this place...and we hadn't even been there 24 hours!

Enter Vladimir Rodriguez - the best concierge I have ever worked with.  He personally reviewed everything with us, walked us to the beach (where we were introduced to the other guy that could only point...awkward), made all our dinner reservations, looked in on us daily, and was just an all around terrific guy.

Mind you, everybody (except for the towel girl who seemed to think we just wanted to steal their towels) was friendly and smiling.  But I think the continuous sunshine and heat must dull their brains, because everyone else seemed to be in a daze when it came to customer service.  Go to Cancun if you want customer service.

The 24 hour restaurant was amazing...oodles of choices every day.  The only other restaurant I enjoyed was the hibachi show.  The others were mediocre to bad (I couldn't eat one thing at one of them).

Our beach butler (Oscar Arius) was also FANTASTIC (if stretched a bit thin).  He was there with the drinks as quick as he could move his feet!  Friendly, and just a wonderful man.

A word of caution about DR.  Upon departure, they instituted a random passenger check AFTER you had cleared everything...making you leave the gate (this is during boarding!), go with a DR agent (who knew no English and had your passport - given away by the airline desk!) and brought back PAST security to inspect your bag and ask you questions NOT in English.  You were then supposed to get back in time to make your flight!  I wasn't subjected to it, but I saw two people go through it while we were waiting for our flight, and it's very poorly managed, frightening, and potentially will cause you to miss your flight (they do this during BOARDING).  Another reason to choose Cancun!

I have no words to describe what a fantastic and Super Romantic experience my husband and I had at Paradisus Palma Real.
We celebrated our 20th Anniversary and we were looking for a romantic ceremony to renew our vows. Two months before our trip I contacted Noelia Jimenez, who is in charge of special events, without too much detail she understood what we wanted and on our arrival she personally made sure the hotel exceeded our expectations and we had our beautiful ceremony. Noelia and all the Paradisus staff made us feel throughout our whole stay like honeymooners.

If you're looking for a great hotel in a beautiful scenario and romantic sets this is the place.

Wedding Vow Renewal

The place was great especially the entertainment Fido and Scooby-Doo. They were both very welcoming and fun to be around. We traveled with a group of 160 and every one of them loved both. Good hearts and takes very well care of their guests
