We chose this place to meet before a road trip round Brittany as some of use were flying into Nantes and some were driving up the autoroute 175. The Auberge is a nice solid building. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is good. There is a Calvary nearby which is a big pilgrimage destination during the day (hence two restaurants in the area). We are not religious but it is interesting to see. However, what made this trip was Frederic. Attentive without being intrusive, he gave us key information about an evening venue which we would otherwise have missed, he shared his passion for Ferraris with us and he phoned ahead to find us vacancies in Brittany in mid August (yes, it was a mad time to go without booking!). He was a prefect host. We also met his wife- though she was busy cooking for a coachload of tourists. We did not eat in the restaurant but the food smelt amazing and I understand is highly recommended. In sum, this is a top country inn - as we say in England!
