We had lunch here today, and it was Perfect!!! Very kind servers, quick , caring, attentive service, and excellent coq au vin and tarte de Pomme!!!! The setting, in the Halle was quiet, shaded, and really lovely. I would HIGHLY recommend this place!!! 

What nice people and very good food

It has been like nothing we have seen before. It's in a medieval city, what more can you ask for? It has history, the hotel is beautiful, it is clean, it has an amazing view, and the hosts are very nice. October is a great month to visit because fall is beginning and you don't need air conditioning nor fans to sleep fresh and cool, just open the windows.

Incredible experience

Beautiful medieval style hotel. Very friendly & helpful staff, rooms very comfortable & clean. Incredible value for money. I would definately book this hotel again & would strongly recommend it to anybody.

It's an annual 20 year old pilgrimage to this medieval restored town. It's industry is unashamedly purely tourism but that does not distract from the pleasure. The restaurant is under the cover of the town square and the meals are reasonably priced and the portions generous with good service. Local produce and wines simply presented. Today was spoilt a little by kids running around the square and screaming (with pleasure) but that is a one off . Wasps were persistent too but that's the price for eating al fresco. I still thoroughly recommend eating here but start early as it's very popular. 7/10 for food and 9/10 for ambience despite the kids and wasps, the latter two not being a constant feature.

Reliable

We stayed one night in this b&b. The rooms were spacious and clean, although one of the rooms was dated and the beds not too comfortable. The room on the first floor (room no 1, I think) was really nice with a magnificent view and a bed with a lovely, comfy mattress.
Be aware of the following:
No parking on the facilities, you have to park outside the city wall and walk up a steep hill.
The staff does not speak English (at least not the ones we meet)
No wifi (but then again; if you go to Cordes you should be out exploring this magnificent town, not loiter in your room :-))
Breakfast was fairly good value (considering this is in France).

Cheap and central accomodation

The hotel is well located at the top of the hill in Cordes Sur Ciel. It is very easy to get to shops and restaurants. The view from our window was outstanding! The room was clean (the first night...they don't make the beds for you if you stay more than one night) and very spacious. However, the room is run by the people who own the restaurant on the first floor, and they were very busy. They are not available to offer suggestions, make reservations, or offer much assistance at all unless there is a slow period in the dining rush. 

Breakfast is late in the morning, so I would advise getting something from the bakery or plan the night before if you want an early start.

They also do NOT have wifi. This was unclear when we booked (it was mentioned as "internet available in public places"). In order to access internet in the hotel, you have to have a cord to plug into the wall. We couldn't do any research to plan our next days, and when there was an issue with our rental car, we had to go to a different hotel to get someone to help us. We went to the Logis, and the woman at the desk was EXTREMELY helpful. I would sacrifice the view to stay there next time.
