Agriturismo Setteventi

This Agriturismo offered us a wonderful time of peace and quiet have just come from 5 hectic days in Rome.  The noise of the big city was replaced by the sounds of sheep and chickens.  The property is very quiet with a wonderful courtyard.  The restaurant food is impeccable with great service.  The establishment owners are very welcoming where you feel like family.  I would definitely recommend this as a stop if you are heading south of Rome, or for a weekend get away if Rome is your home.

We've visited a few Agriturismos now and I can honestly say, without exception, this is the best of them all. It's more like a boutique hotel, with great attention to detail, from the lovely touches in the rooms and very high standard of finish and of course super clean. 

The food was exceptional. 

A huge spread for breakfast, with fresh eggs, cereals, yoghurts, cakes, fresh croissants, coffee and fresh apple and orange juice. 

Dinner was no different, an amazing antipasti and main courses all using locally sourced produce. 

Barbara was a great host, with good English. Nothing was too much trouble, from an extra fan for the room, to an early breakfast for our flight home. 

We will return! And you should go too!

Sadly we only spent one night here. It was a night that the restaurant wasn't usually open but our hosts prepared a meal that was a highlight of 3 months in Italy. It personified everything that is great about Italy. Food cooked with love, simplicity and passion. The staff (family) are incredibly kind. The bed was soft and their little doggy is great to play with. I wish I had stayed longer but will recommend it to all of my friends.

A lovely little hotel with charming owners and staff. The restaurant offer the most delicious food for a very very deacent price. All the ingrediens comes from the garden, even the fresh eggs and the freshly pressed juice for breakfast. Hope to be able to be back soon.
