Cozy Lodge

Have stayed here in the past and, although the staff is friendly, this has always been a below average type of accommodation. In September my supposed week turned into only a 3 day stay due to some unwanted guests. Unless you are prepared to sleep with rats find other accommodation.

A week at Cozy Lodge

Arrived on 23rd March for a one night business trip and the staff were very welcoming.

The rooms are very spacious and inviting. It is home away from home. Save for the music that plays up to late night and the surroundings are very cramped.

It is a budget accomodation and you get value for the money.

The food is average. 

Spacious Budget Accomodation

We visited this lodge twice in 2917 with my friends. The lodge is quiet and very good for catching up with friends. The food is very good and served in good portions. Services is not so good hence a three stars. Otherwise it’s a place I can recommend for group meetings or just friends catching up after a while! The manager is good and always listen to the needs of the costumers and try to meet their needs while making them comfortable!

Good

A bit difficult to find without GPS as it's on a corner junction. Parking is a bit tight at times. Very few amenities, no pool and the outside area is a bit small. We found it quite noisy, there is a church next door, the services feature loud, if tuneful, gospel music early on a Sunday morning. The rooms are clean, if a bit shabby but there is a TV and fridge in each room. Rates are fairly good but you do get what you pay for.

Cozy but Noisy

While this Lodge advertises as very good and with Wifi, it was actually rather mediocre and with NO wifi (except in the main area).  My main complaint is the indifference of the staff.  We had three people in our group  (we had a family set up with two bedrooms each with bath) but they were not prepared for us.  There was only one towel for all of us, and I had to ask for extra ones plus extra toilet paper.  The electric teapot had loose rust floating in the water (which I discarded - told them about this, they said they'd clean it but never did).  The hot water in the shower disappeared after one minute which greatly disappointed my sons.  The wifi never connected and I was told it was weak on the side we were on.  All in all, I was disappointed with the lodge and cannot recommend it.

Very disappointing

The Cozy Lodge was cozy enough for our 2 day stay in that area.  The room was large with a huge bathroom. It was clean and adequate for a restful night's sleep. The staff was very friendly, and Kaiser still sends us a greeting periodically. I would stay there again.
