Manta is a place to come back. All the other visitors have been there once or twice. We will come back. In the over-touristy, noisy Mui Ne, Manta is a real oasis. It's almost right next to the original fishing village, right on the beach with sunrise in the cozy seating area; a large community room with fridge, table tennis, rent wheels and motorbikes. Sailing, SUB, windsurfing - everything is possible in the protected bay. The staff and trainers are extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are just as described, but completely sufficient; actually, you spend most of the time outside... thank you for the wonderful days.

My five days in Manta have been incredible. if you want to relax and enjoy yourself this is your place. very familiar and welcoming, the people who work there are 10 (Julia, Cris and Phom) simply thank you!

MAGICAL LOGAR is a magical place.

My friend and I spent four wonderful days here. Julia and her team are just great! So great and lovely people. No matter what we've been helped in. The facilities and rooms are simple set up, but absolutely sufficient. The five dogs have grown to our heart right away. Over the bed there's a mosquito net, which is very helpful. Water can be obtained from the water dispenser for free. Other food and drinks can be ordered from the kitchen yourself and in the Honest Book. You can do a lot of water sports here. Even if you're not so water sports, you feel absolutely relaxed here. We have a stand-up paddle and every day was made for us. Water is also a great place to get to. You can get a little bit of water from the nearest city, so we would recommend you to take a little bit of a ride to the nearest roller coaster.

I happened to choose Manta via a secert deal on booking.com. The place seemed normal and nothing stand out, I even worried a bit as I only had few photos to refer to.

Later, it turned out to be my best trip to Mui Ne so far. Everything in Manta has its own vintage look, in-room decor, outdoor chairs, the kitchen, photo books and other available books for guests, etc. Julia (the owner) and Phung (the sail trainer) and other staffs were sooo nice and friendly and made us felt as home.

Just a little point, the beach is not quite ideal for those who expect long strip of white sand or so, however to us that's okay, we could grab our bike and get to such place in minutes.

For sure I will go back Manta in the very near future.

Perfect stay, just want to be here longer

I fell in love with Julia’s place (MANTA) and didn’t want to leave! It’s a cozy, laid back, peaceful little haven right on the sand, just steps from the lapping shore. Julia and Chris (who helps run the place) were warm and welcoming, just the nicest people you could meet. The staff who live on-site are great too, very friendly and helpful – they helped me reschedule my bus ticket, made a sunglass strap out of string for me so I wouldn’t lose my sunglasses during the sailing lesson, called a cab, made sure my bus was coming on time, etc. 

The place is exactly as advertised. There’s an immaculate open-space communal kitchen that Julia lets the guests use to cook meals, and there’s a price list for things like coffee, tea, beer. The bedroom is tidy and comfy, and as Julia says it’s “basic”. I like to think of it as beach living ☺

The neighborhood is quiet. About a 15 minute walk to the town, market, and fishers village. There is a bicycle for free use if you’d rather bike into town, you have to share it with the other guests but I found this easy to work out. Also, next door is a small resort restaurant where I walked to have breakfast twice.

I heard that some previous visitors to Mui Ne felt that MANTA is too far outside of town from where the bars and clubs are, and if that’s what you prefer to be near to then that may be true. But if you are like me and want quiet, peaceful, unpopulated beach paradise with access to water sports, and the company of good people, this place is wonderful. There are some standup paddleboards for free use, and if you want to learn how to sail they can set that up very easily for you. 

I would return to Mui Ne just so I could stay here again. ☺

Most friendly people (Jullia Shaw).She is very helpful and the rooms are vey basic but very clean and comfortable.You can bring your own food and get it heated and have it there .They are very hospitable and friendly staff.

This laid back Boho Backpacker style accomodation was an absolute delight
Whilst my friend was having sailing lessons I lazed the day away reading on my bead with a mosquito net, shell collecting or taking photos. The staff were ever helpful with places to eat and advice on costs for transport, at one point seeing us trying to get a taxi and negotiating a good price for motorbikes to get us home.
We were treated like family, and the other occupants helped to make it my favourite time in Vietnam. I highly recommend Manta if you don't mind it a bit rough but real(electric fans) and a close proximity to the beach, as in on it. The price was $15 a night twin shah are
