I was at this hotel from 22 to 28 October 2018. On the last day before my trip to Vietnam, I read a review about this hotel and was very upset. No positive review. Maybe it was true, but all the reviews for 2017. What was my surprise when I came to this hotel. The name of this hotel was changed and it's now called Manila Resort Muine. The owner of the hotel also changed and put in complete order. The vacation was just wonderful.

A wonderful vacation in Muay-Ne

No electricity at +30, so no conditioner, room with poor isolation, no working locks, no water for shower, terrible kitchen and poor breakfast.

Additional payments due to check out.
I would no recommend this hotel.

There's nothing to add to the rest of the reviews! It's an ugly place, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, which is 3*, not even a 1st, most of the gestures are better and the most important thing is cleaner! Bypass it! Even if you want to save, consider other options! Today at 30.10 at the hotel something with electricity just isn't there, at the reception they say go by the forest we'll do it, when I ask for 8 hours no, the answer may be tomorrow!

Eat it

To say that this is a 3*- not to say anything, because this hotel and the guest house do not attract. The hotel staff talk to everyone except one person only in Vietnamese- save the conversations in their native language! The sea is dirty and the surrounding territory, but compared to the other hotels standing nearby it seems that the beach is the cleanest. The rooms were cleaned every day and immediately after cleaning they turned off the electricity for the purpose of saving. Breakfast in the hotel is simply no! but after they realized that the Russians grind everything in Swedish, even what is not clear on taste, they started feeding eggs every morning, which towards the end of the holiday!

It used to be Sun Flower, and before the flower was what it was called, the hotel was dirty, the terrain wasn't cleaned up, even when you asked to clean it, the staff turned around and walked past, had to clean up after themselves, not sit in a piggy bank by the pool, the rooms were dirty, hot water.

I wouldn't recommend it.

I bought a tour of this hotel from 03.04.17 to 14.0417 reviews are few and all negative, the rating of the hotel is very low by all parameters, maybe the hotel managers somehow comment on the advantages of this hotel, or it is scary to go to this one, and to book another hotel is not possible, Planned a trip to China to Hainan Island, but the tour operator recommended Vietnam, yes and at the price of Vietnam is more acceptable, Gentlemen, try to find the positive side of the Bavico Boutique Resort Mui Ne hotel does not want to spoil your holiday and impressions about the country.

A small square room with a constant smell of humidity and refurbished is not the first freshness. Periodic power outages, since the power comes from the generator standing on the street and it periodically goes out. There is no variety and food is very little. The situation is worse than in the Soviet-style hotel. Stayed 5 days from 01.01.17 to 06.01.17, not very liked.

Rest in the Hotel

This is the WORST and Most Expensive place I've had the misfortune of staying at while in Vietnam.  For 5 days I stayed here and for each of those 5 days I have had problems and they got worse and worse as the days went on. 

Management REFUSED to do anything about the family of 10 staying in the room next to me about their very loud music. Forget the fact that not only could I no longer hear the T.V. in my room, I could no longer have a phone conversation with my family as music was that loud. 

Management REFUSED to give me a butter knife to cut my mango stating that it would be too dangerous to give it to me. I've been using a fork and knife since I have been 5 and couldn't believe that the man in the restaurant wouldn't let me have one. He stated if I brought my fruit to him he would cut it, but considering people here pick their nose and pee without washing their hands I refused. 

I made the mistake of letting housekeeping clean my room once and only once as they took my items out of the room.  Bags that held my toiletries that were on my suitcase and plastic bags that they should not have taken. Gone.  They where never permitted back in my room again, but every day I would come back from walking the beach to find them sitting on my porch like someone was up to doing something they shouldn't.

They promote WiFi and cable TV.  Good luck with that!  The room they gave me had neither. The man actually put a new TV in my room thinking that would help, changed out the cables twice and I have snow. At least with the second TV I was able to listen to static / English channels but for five days I have had no watchable T.V. 
 As for the WiFi. Worked everywhere else except for my room (beach front, bottom floor).  I actually sat in the lawn the first night to call my family as I couldn't get the WIFI to work in my room.  Took them 3 hours to move the router so the signal could hit that room.  In the end, thank goodness since I was at least able to stream a movie to watch before bedtime.

In the mean time they attempted to move me to another room that smelled so moldy that I walked out. Only after I said that I would stay one night and go to another hotel did they make the WIFI work in my room. 

The beach here is full of garbage. Can't fault the hotel for that, just the people in this country not knowing what a rubbish bin is. But for the money the hotel charges, you won't get your monies worth.

There are hundreds of hotels, guest houses and rooms for rent that would be better than staying here. In hindsight, I should have stayed in Nha Trang. Mui Ne equals Heck NO. 

Oh, I save the best for last.  The doors to the rooms are GLASS. There is no window covering so at 5:30 am the sun comes in.  After the sun goes down the light that is above the door filters into the room, all night long. Unless you are scared of the dark this is NOT a place for you. Being I didn't bring an eye mask I never got much sleep unless I had a pillow over my face.

The semi positive, it took 5 minutes before I got hot water in my shower. But I did have hot water. 

The sink in the bathroom has a faucet like in shopping mall bathrooms, hit the button and 5 seconds later it turns off. Not good when you are trying to wash your face. 

The positive, the bed was comfortable and the refrigerator worked well.

If you are a foreigner I would advise strongly to stay away from Bavico Resort.

Run FAST and Run FAR.  Save your money. This Place is scum!

We took a family trip 3D2N to Phan Thiet. The first day we stayed at Coco Beach Camp. The seconday we spent at Bavico resort.
Cause It is a 3-star resort. I rated it as 3-star's standard.
The good points for this resort:
Good location, it is near the central of Phan Thiet, restaurants (Ngoc Suong or Cay Bang Restaurant - best choise for seafood lovers. Cay Bang is more local)
The price is reasonable.
Lots of trees
Opposite the Sightseeing Fairy Stream
Rooms with full equipments.
People are nice.
I would give a BIG STAR fo the restaurant in Bavico for the good & delicous foods.
The Bavico's restarant is quite large. It's suit for group from 100-200pax i guessed. It's a pity. I forgot to take a food pictures :( 

Bad mark that need to improve.
It would be great if the breach front rooms have the curtain that covered the main door. Too light when the sun went up. The sunlight caught our eyes. We could not fall into sleep anymore. :( (from 6h30-7h00 am)

Anyways, still love this hotel. If i come back, i would prefer the garden view. Lovely view with lots of shade :).
