The room was a triple with private bathroom, the bathroom without ventilation with smell and humidity, mushrooms without curtains with which the whole floor was covered. The lock didn't work and had to be left without a key at the exit, which gave us zero security. The unstable beds with very little firmness which almost led me to a fall and gave me a turn to the sub, looking at the unidas with nails, I can mention that I am a person of normal-thin context (just for reference).

It's not what we expected.

We booked, got paid, and had to go! The photos from the publication don't match the reality. Our room that was the best had no ceiling light, only a small emergency light, no air conditioning or window, the window is the door, a glass opening that you have to keep closed since it gives you the street. Zero security, only the barrier of the opening/door with a key that makes no sense to use. Let's not talk about cleaning! The mattress looked like a dirty cloth. We spoke nicely to the owner and returned the money.

There is no excuse for taking pictures!!

The Hostel is well located, but I wouldn't book there again. The cleanliness is zero. No one seems to care that the Hostel is presentable. Everything is dirty, with smells in the bathrooms. I've really never stayed in a place so careless in so many respects. It could have been much better.

No way!

I booked 2 nights, and on the second night that was New Year's Eve, I arrived in the middle of the morning, and I found a guy sleeping in my bed. It turns out that the attendants had given him my bed and left me without a bed. They also lost a membership that was between the sheets. I tried to recover it but they only gave me excuses, that they were selling it and nothing else. The night that they left me without a bed I was lucky enough to have a few friends in a private room and went to sleep with them. But in fact they should have returned me the last money from the bed that I did not occupy and paid me what I could. In addition, they lost the service of this place. And they did not ask me an apology. The woman who was attending the badly-looked place was in the wrong place. In addition, there was a camera in the same room, and no one was locked in the bathroom, and no one was even asking for the door to be closed, and no one was even in the same room.

Having already checked in, in fact, they gave my bed to someone else and lost something of mine that was in bed.

I came to Punta del Este to work in season and was very disappointed with this Hostel. I had booked it by booking for 20 nights (from December 13 to January 2) and left before the date for several reasons. Since the first day I had a bad feeling about the place. I rented a shared room and all the rooms that I was taught had a bad smell of closure because for months no one had been cleaning. The mattresses full of dirt, old saunas, bathrooms that could be cleaned, showers that could be cleaned, all of them were lost for everyone and the hot water was a constant struggle.

There is NO VAYAN.

We reserved a double room thinking it would be like the one in the pictures but it turned out to be bunk beds n a very very small room where we barely had any room. The room didn’t both us much since we were just going to sleep there but when we decided to take a shower.... it was horrifying. There was some liquid on the floor where we were pretty sure it was not water from the smell, the showers were disgusting, it would over flow and weird particles would be floating around in your feet and there was no hot water. After the shower experience we decided to leave and when we mention it to them they said there is no refund but we could NOT stay another day there.

Nothing but disappointing

The bedrooms are very small and have three-story bunk beds with a small bathroom too.It's all very small for 6 people.However, the rest of the place we liked very much was very cared for and the staff very friendly.

The whole wave that put him in the living room/yard and reception room was just a facade. Clearly that's what lies in the photos. The rooms are a scare. We paid for a shared room. This was divided into two: one had three three-story beds (yes, three floors, amontoned like sardines), one two-bed and a simple bed. Forgetfulness of lighting. For that whole place there was only a general light that clearly did not illuminate anything. The three-story beds that were at the bottom had not even a pocket of light. There was no ventilation. The beds had a very ugly texture and looked very humid. The bathroom en was a horror suite, without that kind of scare, care, the door, and the door was locked.

A disgusting deception, not if they happen to reserve.

My girlfriend and I are two Argentines who set out to travel to Uruguay on a motorcycle, and from La Paloma (about 118 kilometers from Punta del Este) we booked a night for 25 USD at Soul Hostel (with the intention of paying another 25 dollars at check-in), but due to a severe weather that flooded the route connecting La Paloma with Punta del Este, we were unable to arrive at the hostel on time.

NO RESERVEN!! the owner is Marcello Bonifacino and the robots!!

We booked on the internet from Buenos Aires, we interpreted the photos as being different and even had a pool. If you see that they were confusing photos. The disastrous place and above is charismatic! While there we discovered other much better hostels and cheaper prices (even with breakfast included). Bad decision. The place is very precarious (the light tables are vegetable drawers), the saunas are of a strange fiber and of dubious cleanliness as they are impregnated with environmental deodorant. The infrastructure is precarious. We touch the part that looks like a box, and the bathroom was on the outside, a life-guard box. They are almost three floors down the stairs. For the column at night we freeze cold (we had to sleep with clothing) by the screams and the music towards the bedroom, which I would like to compare to the Deluxe, which would be our bedroom.
