Punta del Este

The hotel is quite pretty, as it seems in the fotos. However, it is only on the surface. The first room they gave us had mold on the wall in the hallway. When we told reception, they quickly gave us another room, but didn’t seem surprised. Later we saw, that they gave the room to someone else. The new room had no mold on the walls, but we later saw mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. On the last evening it rained and the window was leaking so a part of the floor was flooded. The water then got into the panels on the floor. There were also smaller details like a starcaise that hasn’t been painted in a while, a cupboard that smells weirdly, a bin that is a bit rusty etc. 
In general the hotel seems like a formerly nice hotel, that hasn’t been cared for enough.
Honestly, I would not recommend staying here at the moment. If the really renovate and deal with the mold it might be quite nice.

Hotel in bad shape

Exactly as advertised. A good 3* in a great location, very friendly and helpful people at reception. Room was cute and clean, breakfast had the basics which you can expect in Uruguay. I would return. The elevator is super-slow, but they know it and have a lovely saying on the inside of the elevator about living life slowly ;)

Good choice in Punta

The hotel has an excellent location, it is very clean, white and modern, with a fresh breakfast and very nice and friendly staff working there. The rooms are a bit small. But having a room with balcony it is a good choice. We had the room 201 and it was perfect. Thank you !

Excellent hotel

This hotel has a nice and cozy atmosphere.
It’s great location makes it perfect to visit Punta Del Este.
The only thing missing was a swimming pool.
Staff was very attentive to everything.

Excellent location

Hotel is pretty new and very clean. Our room was pretty small and quite noisy as it was in the staircase area and we could hear people trudging up and down the stairs. The rooftop terrace was in a pretty bad shape and wasn't any where near to what the picture on the website resembles. 

Breakfast was decent and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay if cleanliness and location are one of your priorities.

Clean hotel, great location but small room and a little noisy

Absolutely great location for those who need and want to be close to activities, restaurants and shopping. Very basic small room, super clean, great mattress and amenities for the bathroom. Excellent service. Outstanding staff, willing to help and available 24/7. Very good basic breakfast. Would not travel with small children, given the size of the room, more rorinted towards a couple that will not spend too much time in hotel

New and well located

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel.  Victoria and Daniella were extremely hospitable and helpful during our entire stay.  They helped us attempt to get a last-minute dinner reservation for NYE and gave us plenty of recommendations while we stayed there.  They catered to my fiance's Celiac by buying her gluten free food for breakfast.  I will say the price is expensive for the size and quality of the hotel, but nonetheless, I give it five stars.  Also, it was New Years so understandable it was so pricey.  Also, we had checkout at 12:30 but flight wasn't until 7 hours later.  We wanted to enjoy the beach.  So what was awesome is that they have this private bathroom on the 4th floor that you can shower and use a restroom before leaving to the airport.  I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights while visiting Punta del Este. Hotel has a great location and has parking if you have a car. The room we had was terrible. The bed was so bad both my wife and I had sore backs from sleeping on it. The bedroom was barely functional with no chair to sit on, missing 1 end table and had nowhere to but clothing beyond 4 hangers in a half closet. Our package included breakfast which was fine for the convenience but nothing great to write about. The hotel is clean and again is in a great location.

Better Elsewhere

We stayed for a night and the room was adequate for such length. Ideal location; within walking distance of shopping and the iconic hand. Staff was nice and breakfast as expected. However the room we got was small ... even for two ppl and the bathroom had a humid smell which was bearable but certainly unwelcome. Windows don't have screens so opening them to feel the breeze also meant welcoming bugs. Lastly their presentation as hotel is seadside boutique is great, but their walls are white so they either have to Clorox wipe them to remove many scuffs marks, or they need to give it good painting (some areas more than others). Has great potential to be  a 4-5 star hotel but does need to pay attention to the upkeep to compensate for room size.
