We booked this hotel for a couple of reasons. Breakfast availability, a pool and location to the town of Katoomba. Their website was very professionally done but unfortunately it is misleading and needs to be updated. They say there is breakfast available when there is not breakfast available or kitchen. The pool was not open because it was cloudy and a lime green colour. I own a pool and it is very easy to clear a pool by using testing strips and adjusting the chemicals and shocking it. Pretty evident that the owners have no idea how to do that. Its says that there is no smoking out the rooms yet that were everyone smokes and the smell pours into the rooms. The room walls are paper thin and you can easily hear other people. Sorry but this place isn’t worth the money at $140 a night. Plenty of other options and airbnbs in the area. Good luck to the new owners I hope you listen to this review and make upgrades. The two staff I met were  friendly and apologetic. Cheers

There are no ironing boards. Of course I came there for a funeral and I needed my cloths ironed. The toilet seat was cracked and was not replaced. There was no garbage bucket. I thought the price was decent and the cleanliness of the place is decent for the price that we paid.

The location of the hotel provided convenient access to freeways, shopping and entertainment. The staff was friendly and check in went off without a hitch. Some demolition/remodeling to one of the rooms was taking place, and for some reason the crew found it unnecessary to leave the remnants just outside the room in a parking space. Outside of flooring, Sheetrock and expired furniture sitting there in a massive heap, I can honestly say the property bore a peaceful energy. Upon entering the room, I found myself greeted with near hellish temperatures that almost reached triple digits. Turning on the walled a/c unit and leaving the unit for 2 hours made little impact on its condition. The room itself was clean, yet sparsely furnished. The mattress rigid, but the linen was fresh. The television required a magnifying glass, but there was Direct TV. Overall, the room did the job for a one night stay. If you're seeking comfort, please look elsewhere...

Nice enough, but I selected the best price without knowing the city, and all the money I had to spend on taxis made it expensive.

Worst place ever

Its an old place with old amenities. The people are nice. The beds are not so comfortable but what the room lacks in comfort it makes up for in space and good Wi-Fi!

The motel was going through some renovations and remodeling, it looks like the owners are working hard to attract good clientele.  The room I stayed in had nice laminate floors and granite counter tops.  The bathroom was newly remodeled as well with a tile shower and floor and a granite sink.  The only thing that was a little annoying was that there was an automatic light in the bathroom so I was blinded when I got up in the middle of the night.  It is next to the Executive Airport so there was some Jet noise in the early morning but that did not bother me as I am an early riser.   From what I understand not all the rooms have been remolded so call in direct to the hotel and ask for a remodeled room.

Remodeled Room was Nice.

This is an older motel with no modern conveniences but it was cleaned each day with fresh towels and the bed was made daily even though we spent six nights there. We will definitely return in the future on our next visit to our son.
