I stayed for a week with my children in a one bedroom apartment, which was clean and well equipped.  Breakfast is simple (bagels, muffins, pastries), but enough. The hotel is extremely well located, there is a bus right outside the door, a subway about 7 minutes walk away and lots of nice eateries and restaurants nearby.  We had a minor plumbing problem which was fixed within 30 minutes of my reporting it. 
Overall, the hotel offers good value for money in central NY and I would certainly come back.

Comfortable and convenient

I stayed at Beekman Tower for a month. I was a slightly Apprehensive because of some reviews. Staff ( Hector, Ayman,Jose, Eddie, Jonny) were amazing, approachable, accommodating and happy. You have small kitchen, bonus that there is laundry facilities in basement. Bigger than the typical NYC hotel room. Very easy to walk to main attractions. I will definitely book my next trip with them. 

Great stay

I, my wife and our 7-yo daughter stayed in a one-bedroom apartment at Beekman Tower for 9 nights. Excellent experience. It was as living in our own small apartment in the hearth of NYC.It's not an hotel: the room is only cleaned twice a week and the concierge service is pretty basic. But the apartment is quite spacious, the furniture are in very good condition, the kitchen is well equipped and the wi-fi works well. Free coffee /tea and beagles in the lobby. The gym seems ok (didn't use it) and they have just opened a bar on the roof. Ah, and the building is beautiful, too.

Comfortable, spacious and convenient

Toxic smell from heavy chemicals used by cleaning staff, AC/heater never works especially during very cold weather and the maintenance is pretty stand-offish and incompetent. Major water issues- for the two weeks that I’ve stayed there I was able to shower only few times because of dirty brown water.

Do not book this place

This "hotel" ruined our vacation. We paid in advance as the location was good and breakfast included. However when we arrived we found out only first and second floor are for hotel guests, the rest is for tenants, so forget the view. Turns out there is no restaurant at the hotel, only a coffee machine and some old dry bagels they put at the reception every morning. No tea, no juice, not even jam. They have the nerve to call this a "continental" breakfast! I said, why there is no tea? They wouldnt even be bothered to accomodate, but just shrugged their shoulders. Then I went out to buy a box of tea bags myself and placed in the room, room service threw it away. Receptionist: Oh, i'll ask them about it when they get in. Never happened.
Oh, and rooms are cleaned every FIVE days only!! And if you want shower gel you have to beg the reception. Staircase always full of trash as guests leave their trash bags there instead of keeping them in the room five days. 
We wanted to leave and get our money back, but they would not cancel. Johny Rodriguez GM was rude and didnt care, and receptionists act like they have nothing to do with the hotel. 
Also heating broke down for an entire day and night. They said it would be fixed in five minutes.... ten times. 
Scam, dont stay here!
