It is still hard to believe the awful condition of this place for which I paid over $340. for TWO nights. 

The front door to the unit was severely damaged. (The apartment is on the ground floor, right by the sidewalk.) The door had obviously been kicked in, and did not feel secure when locked. I did not feel safe here and left after the first night. (My boyfriend was with me the first night, but I wouldn't stay there alone!)

The plug for the air conditioner was in terrible shape and seems a fire hazard. The living room was nice and roomy, but the TV didn't work, and the internet didn't work. It went out ever 30 seconds or so, which was incredibly frustrating. The bed is more or less in the kitchen, which is kind of weird. The bathroom wasn't in great shape either.

I asked them to refund me for the unused night and sent them the photos. But they did not offer the courtesy of a reply. I tried calling but could not get through.

This is an odd company that manages multiple properties in the area. It seems kind of like an Air BnB sort of thing, as this was in an apartment, not a hotel. First I had to go to an office in one building, and then the accommodations were many blocks away. They did give us a ride in a pickup truck with a handyman who did not speak English, and he put the luggage in the back of the truck.

I would suggest you consider avoiding properties where you have to go to an office at 100 Collins Avenue. You could end up here!

Absolutely Terrible--Stay Away!

It started with check-in, you need to call ahead to have someone meet you at the apartment building to let you in, we advised them of a 5 pm check-in and followed up will a call at 4:45, no one showed up until 6 pm, we spent an hour on the sidewalk with our luggage in the rain, apparently they could not locate a key..
We booked a 2 story Duplex Apt. with washer/dryer walk in shower etc. What they gave us was an old dirty one bedroom apt. the check-in guy said he checked people into the Duplex 2 days ago. We showed him the confirmation, he called the office, then said sorry nothing they can do just refund the money. We booked several months in advance to get a good price, hotels in the area were triple what we had paid.
The Expedia website has over 80 photos of the various apts in the building, none of the photos were of the apt we were given, the pic of the building entrance is false. The floors were filthy, I walked from the front door to the bedroom in white socks, they we black... the sofa had so many stains on it we had to drape it with a sheet. The bedding was a bottom sheets and 2 top sheets, spare pillow in the closed had blood stains on it, the towels had holes. The fridge didn't work, it had blown a fuse, the gas cooktop had only one burner that worked, and only a very small flame. Save yourself this nightmare book somewhere else....
