Find somewhere else if you want a normal hotel stay.  Healy is about 10 miles from Denali NP and is in the sticks.  The people are helpful but the place has something to desire.

great place if you need a great room and bed and not  high park prices. stayed 2 nights and was great. right off the highway 5 mins from the park and back your car right up to the door

A great budget option for seeing Denali park. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t need. Only thing that’s worth pointing out is the rooms are not air conditioned. This meant keeping the curtain open for air and trying our best to sleep despite the midnight sun.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was a very short drive to the park and to dining. The staff was excellent. Our room was perfect, and the property was well maintained. The benches outside were a nice touch. We would stay here any time we visit Denali!

The pictures online were not even close to the rooms we ended up in. It is very rundown and not very clean, it smelled so old and musty and even having the fan on and window open 24/7 it still smelled and was hot, over 80 in the room. There was old blood on my sheets and hair in the tub. Unfortunately I had a very late arrival after a very long day of travel. So I was not able to get a new room or complain about it. What bothers me the most is I put my providers up in this awful motel 6 type place and paid high costs of a princess lodge. I feel like I got catfished. Online it also says its close to Denali park. That is another lie. It was about 40 mins to the park from this place. I disliked it so much I stayed away as much as possible until I was too exhausted and had to return for sleep. I also have been getting a terrible run around about my receipt. I don't understand why they can't get me a receipt. But I was told Hotels.com would have it even though I paid at the property. Now no one will even return my calls or emails. Save yourself the frustration and stay elsewhere.

So disappointed

The property appears very old. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. If it's warm out, there is no AC, but they do provide a box fan.

Motel, not hotel

This is a very quaint spot in very close to Denali National Park.  There was a moose with her baby right outside of the building one morning.  Our room didn't have AC but there was a fan and a great breeze so we were very comfortable.

Great location!!

This motel (although they call it a hotel) is somewhat typical of places to stay around the Denali Alaska area. For almost $300 you get a low grade motel 8 experience. Good enough to sleep and shower but don’t expect much more.
