Putrid black mold comes up from the bath drain almost daily and the building managers refuse to do anything but snake the drain (and then charge for it) despite it clearly being a systemic issue with the old
pipes. We have lived here over 22 years and it’s a problem that’s cropped up because of all the units rented out for air bnb and similar short term rentals.

Potential owners: AVOID THIS BUILDING. It is falling apart and the management will let it happen and then say you should pay for its deterioration.

Tourists: Also avoid this building because you’re making long terms residents day to day lives significantly more difficult. Stay in a hotel if you must.

The place is also Captain Cook themed which is extremely tacky and glorifies violent colonialism. Maybe that’s why tourists like staying here.

Did and AirB&B and loved it!  Great location, had a clean space with full kitchen, laundry, has pool/hot tub/small gym access.  Shops, restaurants, pharmacy, and car rental in the lobby areas.  Felt safe and was a quick walk to the Hilton Lagoon and ocean.  

Great place and location

Great location and views.  Close to restaurants,  Ala Moana Mall and Beach Park and Hilton Lagoon. Room was spacious enough for us and we had no issues keeping the space at a comfortable temperature.  Host was superb and was available to answer any questions we had.

My favorite accomodations in hawaii. Very close  to beach and shopping mall. Also within walking distance of a very beautiful ocean front walking park, where many couples choice to have there weddings. Bus line right in front of bbuilding. Close to all hawaii entertainment.. beautiful one bedroom and two bedroom suites. The best

Best holiday place ever

Very enjoyable 3 week stay. Only issue was poor WiFi in the condo. Small workout room but never busy. Pool and large hot pool great. Sauna very nice. Location was great. Parking stall included was excellent amenity.

Hawaii Summer 2019

I stayed with my family at 31st floor, whtta fine view!
Unfortunately air-conditioning was down with whole building during with my stay but that was not so problem for me.
You can find Subway and Macdonald's at first floor, and Buffalo wild wing is my favorite.
Just 10 minutes walk to Alamoana shopping center, ABC store is just in front of entrance of this building!

Stay with quite view!

We stayed here for 8 nights...out of the major Waikiki hustle and bustle. Hilton Hawaiian village fireworks greeted us on Friday evening. 2 bedroom, both with ensuite and a self contained kitchen so we looked after ourselves alot...much cheaper and we had unlimited wifi. Security on site. Parking on site. We loved it and will stay again. ABC convenience store across the road. Maccas in the building, pharmacy in the building, swimming pool and hot tub. I felt like we could have stayed for a month. Never got sick of looking at that view

Clean and comfortable

We were forced to stay here for a work trip. Terrible. Entrance smelt of urine, homeless people at entrances, someone smoking marijuana and because it is not a managed property now way of trying to find person, shower was so small my husband had to duck his head under, the air conditioner was mouldy. If you can afford somewhere else, go there 

Terrible decaying building do not stay here 

We were on the 31st floor and had a nice, spacious, 2-queen-bed (plus futon) unit.  We had access to a reserved parking space in the parkade (multi-level parking garage).  The condo had a full, well-equipped kitchen; the bathroom was small and dated.  There was also a very cool balcony area (enclosed, except that the massive windows opened wide - very nice)!

We had a great view looking east, over the city towards the mountains.  It was nice to watch the street/building lights turn on in the evening, and the sunrise in the morning was spectacular, which then caused the room to warm up quickly!

3-Night Stay, booked through Airbnb

Good location
Little bit dated.
Good views of the city and some of the water.
We had a 2br 2 bath and it was perfect for 2 couples 
Car rentals located right in the basement, very convenient.
Across from the illakai and the Hilton Hawaiian village.
About a ten minute walk to the beach thru Fort serious.
A little shorter if you just want to go to the other side of the Hilton lagoon.
