We needed someplace inexpensive to stay for one night.  We went to Misquamicut Beach in RI during the day and then off to a concert at Foxwoods in the evening and Mystic the next day.  The motel was the perfect location with easy access to all locations for $100/night on a Sat. night. The motel is definitely no frills.  Some updates were made - there was a brand new fancy mirror in the bathroom, new towel holders, clean mini fridge and microwave. Still needs some more TLC - tub was really old, water handle came off in our hands, bathroom door had a hole in it and the bedroom floor dipped in one spot.  BUT... the room was spotless, the bed was (surprisingly) super-comfortable, and the gentleman at check-in (owner?) was really nice.  We'd stay again.

Convenient, No Frills, Motel

We stopped because it was late and we needed a place to sleep. That’s all this is. No breakfast, nothing special. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. No coffee available. Fridge and microwave provided. I wouldn’t stay long but for a night, it was fine and quiet.

No frills 

Don't be deceived the photos and reviews that might persuade you that this is an "okay" place and our a "good value" that will suffice for a short stay over. This place is truly dilapidated, replete with painted over wall paper, repurposed furnishings and the scent of ancient tobacco in a would be non-smoking room. The bed linens and  towels were paper thin and the latter, the texture of like sandpaper. The single bed pillows those you find on airplanes. When we requested second pillows they were not to be had due to "COVID". We stayed here because other accommodations we checked around Mystic, CT were full. In retrospect, we should have looked harder. IMO, this place is only suitable for those saving all their money for the slot machines. To say this motel needs a total remodel would be a massive understatement, more likely it needs to be razed.

A Sad, Tired Place

I'm on a motorcycle trip and stayed here for 2 nights while I visited the USS Nautilus museum and Mystic Seaport. It's a older classic roadside motel, but my room was super clean.  AC and TV both worked like a champ.  The room had a microwave and refrigerator,  neither of which I used.  I've stayed in rooms that cost twice as much on this trip that weren't any better,  or had problems.  The owners were very helpful and friendly as well.

A great value 

We booked a room a couple days in advance for a Saturday night stay; we arrived in the early evening. The gentleman in the office was friendly and our booked room was ready to occupy. The room itself was tidy and the fixtures and appliances in working order. There were no objectionable odors and the air conditioning unit took care of the slight humidity in short order. The bed sheets were clean and the mattress firm and comfortable. The price of our weekend night stay was less than one-third the price of the cheapest rooms at the casino and surrounding hotels. If you are looking to impress or overpay, by all means, stay elsewhere. If you're looking for a clean comfortable place to rest and shower at an affordable rate, this motel should meet your needs. Would and will stay again. 

Rated for Value

Clean and decent place to stay when you don’t want to spend the $400-500 weekend rate at the casino hotel. Updated furniture with lg wall-mount flat screen. As far as any security issues the exterior lights are very well lit on the property...So bright! (Maybe a little too bright too as it seems the lighting shines through the room, but I appreciate feeling safe as we were two female solo travelers) Food options in either direction down the road. Planning to stay here again whenever Iam in the area.

Close to Casinos

Place was OVER priced.  We were charged $137 for a $ 50 room.  Chemicals smell, noisy AC, no coffee, no vending.  Outdated .  Room advertising daily at $50.  Can't get Windsor to give me any credit, only a 10% discount that I would never use.

Do not stay here.

Must say, when staying at motels you already know what you are paying! Place to sleep! I booked the last room when I got there it was only smoking I almost cancelled when I asked the owner if I can see it. To my surprise it was very clean and did not smell like smoke at all.  The owner was gracious, polite and accomodating.  I stayed three nights and for the affordable price was one of the best motel experience I've stayed at. It has all the essentials plus and iron and ironing board...big plus!. Was clean and room serviced everyday. Some updating for the bathroom but is expected.  If you want modern, more luxery...then don't stay at a motel...you get what u paid but I got more than expected....very satisfied customer! Would definitely stay here again!
