Don't waste your time or money on this dive. The only positive thing I can say is it's conveniently located close to downtown. The room we were given reeked of stale cigarettes. We tried to ask for a new room but there was no one in the office. The water pressure in the shower was barely a trickle. The laundry room had no lighting. Quite a few of the other guests smoked weed. Not a good place at all.

Let me start by saying I knew the hotel is dated when the reservation was made. I booked two rooms when I arrived on site, the lobby was full of people standing around talking to the receptionist. I didn’t think that was a big deal at all, except we had to make her way through the people who were standing there speaking. When we checked in, they did not ask for my drivers license or any information to confirm it was me. We walked to the first room, open the door and saw that there was a bug on the pillowcase. I then mediately, check the sheets to find several more. We then proceeded to walk to the second room and check the sheets. none were present on the sheets or pillowcase. However, when removing the mattress pad cover, it was apparent that there was bugs. We saw at least 10 moving begs. I went back into the front office, but I had to make my way through the people again to speak to the receptionist. I tried to explain to the young lady what was going on with the bedbugs when she replied, I had to call the booking company. There was nothing she could do about it, I walked out the door and immediately called the booking company. The response back from the booking company is that I’m not getting my money back for the two hotel rooms that I didn’t even stand. Word  to the wise. Do not stay here. Yes it’s dated but that’s no excuse for having bedbugs. This has been time and energy that I should not have to spend to get a refund for rooms I didn’t stay in due to bedbugs. DO NOT STAY HERE!

They had no one at office after a certain time, they did out our room key into a lock box with a combination code. Had trouble with door to get into room. Once we finally got in room was clean. No was wash rags (which was fine I bring my own) but the biggest issue I had was the AC did Not Work. We had to open the window (thank goodness it was a cool night instead of hot) and since one was in the office I couldn't even get someone to come fix our AC. In the morning when leaving still no one in office so I can speak to about it. Smh. Overall not somewhere we would stay again.

STEER CLEAR THEY ARE CROOKS

Room was dirty. They did not provide clean linens for day 2. Sewer smells from sinks. Room smelled of smoke. Dark & nasty. Should not be offered on Expedia.

I booked a room for 2 nights this past weekend. The rooms were below average, but I really didn't care because I would only be sleeping there. At 1am I realized my internet didn't work, there are no phones in the rooms and no number to call in case of emergency, so I left the room to go to the office. No one was there. When I returned to my room, the key did not work. I messaged the hosts ( was renting through Airbnb) and Airbnb, no one responded until 9:30 am. I was locked out of my room all night with no phone (it died while I was waiting for them to respond). There were several men drinking at all hours with beer and liquor containers piled at least 4 feet high by their rooms. I did what I needed to do as single woman, traveling alone in an unsafe area and got my things out, around 3 am. The host has now called me racist because I was not comfortable being locked out of my room with random intoxicated men, threatened me that if I don't pay $2,000.00 yes, you read that right, TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS for a broken window, that he will report me for a felony ( EXTORTION). Air bnb is doing NOTHING to rectify the errors. This is a living nightmare, these people are predators and this establishment should be shut down.

Came down for the weekend and I had a bad feeling about this place when I saw the location.  It's out by the Georgia Port Authority....over the train tracks.  What does that mean?  A train that blocks the road into Savannah (as luck would have it) every time we left the hotel.  If that doesn't aggravate you, the trucking company behind the hotel will.  We got to the hotel around 3pm to check in, but nobody was in the office (it was locked).  When the young lady finally showed up it took her quite a while to find our names on the list for check-ins.   Got the key and went to the room; however, the cleaning staff was still cleaning the room and said that he would need 10 more minutes.  Got moved to another room.  The bed was comfortable but there was a large mirror where the headboard would be.  The bathroom had no vent fan, so the whole place was full of steam after she and I showered.  After the second day, the room key didn't work, so I had to go find someone to get another one activated.  The whole time we were there, no one ever cleaned the room or offered any extra towels or wash clothes.

$40 a night...you get what you pay for.

Solo traveler, room with kitchenette, clean, quiet, close to town!  Coffee at office.  New shower.  Sold out many nights - book early .  Be careful with shower - water gets really hot.  Shower new, pull a bit hard to get water.  Bring your own plates, forks, pots etc. for kitchenette.  Full size refrigerator
