The owner helped us out so much when we got stuck due to car issues he was very understanding. He did everything possible to help us and to guide us in the right direction. I am thankful that we found him so quick

My husband and I were traveling home to VA from Nebraska and stopped here for what we thought would be one night. Everything was wonderful except my husband was exhausted and asked me to book another night. The staff was so helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Then, once I got home to VA I realized I had lost my drivers license on the trip! I called the front desk and spoke with Paul who had my license and promised to put it in the mail that day. True to his word, I received it today and I am so thankful and grateful!

I spent 4 days and nights and was really pleased with my stay. The staff Juan and Amanda were awesome. I will stay here there again when I need to get a Motel room. Its a 5 min walk to Dennys and the Mets Transit bus line. Whoop Whoop!!

Room was clean,nice area for pets,and checkin was super fast compared to other hotels.The staff was friendly.Mrs Ginny at the front desk was very nice.My family enjoyed a nice stay at this motel 6. We had 2 adults, 2 kids and a cat.

Stayed on a whim, rooms seem updated with new furniture and the staff was friendly. I guess you cant expect much with Motel 6 but this met the basic cleanliness standards. Will stay again in the future for sure,

Great Motel

Stayed for 1 month

not bad, friendly staff

This place recently changed from a MOTEL 6 to MOTEL 41. (Route 41) We used a booking website and got the room for $50 and I would suggest everyone do that. The room was as we expected - having stayed in a motel 6 once before. 
So the rooms were typically small with a tiny table and two lonely wooden chairs

Typical motel set up with parking outside your room a flashback to the past.

NO coffee anywhere. 
Our room was clean
We were on the back side and very quiet
There was a BBQ grill (charcoal) for guests
Our room had a refrigerator and microwave.

MAIN ISSUE - I paid for the room with a credit card. They required a CASH DEPOSIT.

Evidently they want to inspect your room before you leave to make sure you left it in good order. I have stayed  more than 2,000 room nights in hotels and have NEVER had to provide a cash deposit. 
AND THEN, I had to remind them to give it back the next morning when I checked out at 5 AM - and BTW they did not inspect my room. Normally I would have just dropped the keys and left, but I wanted my $25 Cash Deposit back

Basically bare minimum - so don't pay the posted $99 rate (which would be a rip off.) Bring your instant coffee for the microwave. And  cup - the plastic they provide is too small, too thin and would probably melt.

For $50 it was good for the 6 hours we spent there. Just make sure they return your cash deposit.

No Longer Motel 6 - now MOTEL 41 - CASH DEPOSIT REQUIRED

This motel was booked online, so we had no idea it was close to a railroad track!!  Check in was ok, and the room was average.  The bed was comfy.  Early the next morning upon checkout, the clerk was hard to awaken, the door to the office was locked and a doorbell had to be rung!  And there was blood on the floor with footprints in it.  There was a little pull out tray that you could put your room key in to check out, but I wanted to be sure I was checked out properly.  I had a feeling we were in a NOT SAFE neighborhood!!

Needing just a comfy bed!

This motel does NOT even deserve 1 star. I realize it's being renovation but they need to fire whoever is doing the work. Room was so musty smelling; pillows were less than 1/2 inch thick; and I had to pay a $25 CASH DEPOSIT  PLUS room cost...????? Why...?? Owner had to check the room before I left to make sure I didn't steal anything or smoke in the room..!!!! I have NEVER heard of this. Plus if you were an early traveler you can kiss your cash goodbye cup NO ONE is in the office.

Motel 41 in Evansville, Indiana

Stayed here one night. Room had mold on the walls, holes in curtains and sheets, and an unidentifiable chemical odor. (Before you ask, it was too late in the day to cancel my reservation and go elsewhere.) In addition to my room deposit, I checked my bank account three days later and, after doing some digging, found out that they’re trying to charge me for a damaged TV set that I did not even touch. I‘ve filed an official complaint, but I’m not hopeful. Do not stay here.

Bad for your health and your wallet

I stayed there in October. I checked the corners of the bedding for bugs when I checkec on because the cleanliness of the room was questionable. I didn't see anything at that point. However, at 2 a.m. I woke to find bugs on the book I was reading and threw back the blanket which was infested with bedbugs. I called management who said they fumigate frequently. and therefore there couldn't be any bugs even after showing him. What I terrible experience! While the hotel refunded my money, they refuse to pay for my medical expenses ( I was horribly bitten on my face arms and legs), loss of clothing left behind, or any other compensation. The place is dirty and the management has no desire to keep customers happy.
