After a crazy few weeks in Florida, we chose the OM Sanctuary for a weekend on our trip back home.  It was WONDERFUL. and just what we needed.  Relaxing, quiet, calm, serene.  The breakfasts were so tasty and the morning holistic classes just beautiful.

Spacial thanks to Ashanti, Matthew, & Rabbie, who in their various roles, were much-appreciated catalysts in our experience.

this time at OM Sanctuary was wonderful

if you wanted sort of get away from the crowds this is the place for you. The Bane lodging had a few rooms and then there were cottages around a green space. A nice walking path yoga and meditation classes included a nice breakfast and box lunches.

Quiet and relaxing

We have been to Asheville many times, stayed all over. This time I wanted something a little different. I pick OM Sanctuary out of the blue. We loved it, everything about it. the room, the staff, the food, the grounds and the location were all great.    
 
We will be back.

weekend get away with wife

Hiking, yoga, meditation, healthy food, massages and all in a beautiful, relaxing environment. A weekend here was good for the soul...I can’t wait to go back. The staff are all friendly and the campus is fantastic (not to mention - the beds are amazing). Rebalance your energy and relax your mind. This place is what self care is made of 💗

Amazing Retreat Location 

We spent three nights here in early December, off-season for this place. Normally, groups spend time here in retreat. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The gas fireplace in our room added to the relaxing atmosphere. No TV, room phone,or other distractions allow for a restful visit. As part of the package, we enjoyed morning classes ranging from yoga to qi gong. Breakfast with choices of fruit, eggs, cereal, and yogurt was included; The grounds include a garden and wooded trails to allow outdoor experiences. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The stay was a perfect "away." We felt relaxed throughout our visit. This is a unique place and experience.

Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful retreat

I loved my stay at Om sanctuary. I was treated by friendly staff at check in. My room was beautifully decorated with 4 poster beds and a wonderful fireplace. The bathroom in my room was wheelchair accessible, and I have to admit had horrible temperature control. Many of my colleagues had gorgeous bathrooms with a separate tub and shower, lucky them! Vegetarian meals were provided which were tasty and nutritious. The grounds feature a walking labyrinth and a hiking trail. I had everything I needed for a truly healing escape from work for a few days. I would definitely stay again.

Learn, relax, renew

This is not your regular hotel. Cottages are built in park like surrounding, although you still can hear the road nearby. Room are cleaned only if you stay more than five days, breakfast is sufficient but with limited choices. It is served in nice room with garden view, but hours are not flexible: 8 -9 only. They also offer lunch boxes but you have to pick them at specific time, we did not use it once. Staff  is extremely nice but cottages are in need of upgrade. Carpet in our cottage was stained , lock is outdated, in general place is in need of  some TLC. 

Different experience

Similar to another review I booked because it was near my workshop and a reasonable price for a high cost weekend in Asheville.  At first glance the main building is impressive and the rooms and grounds are clean, welcoming and quiet with no pets or children.   Looking closer it seems just off the mark.  The staff is very scarce and the rooms and grounds need  attention.   I was anticipating a mouthwatering vegan menu but the food was just adequate.  
Unsecured internet was available but the bandwidth was overwhelmed with only about 1/2 occupancy making it difficult to even check email and streaming was impossible.My verizon account only had 1 bar, there is no tv. 

I would recommend this venue for a small retreat where the activities outweigh the amenities of the hotel.  And for the price and location it is adequate if you can overlook the details.
