We arrived at 3pm after along drive to be welcomed in this home from home by Barney. The residence is first class and exceptionally clean and well presented. The wi fi works all over. There is amply parking on site. Information is provided personally about places to visit and eat. We ate a personally Barney cooked omlette to order with fruit yoghurt with tea and coffee. Really very comfortably quiet stay.

Visiting Blenheim Palace for Jaguar festival.

We had a lovely one night stay at the cottage and were met by Barney who made us feel very welcome.
He took us into the kitchen and made us a cup of tea and coffee before showing us to our room.
The room was comfortable and clean and there was a large bottle of sparkling mineral water and as we had informed Barney that my partner is gluten free he had left her some gluten free cakes.
The bathroom was luxurious with and very clean with a large modern style bath and a separate walk in shower.
Barney recommended a local pub for an evening meal which was superb.
Breakfast the next morning was spectacular with Barney again going out of his way and cooking some gluten free pancakes for my partner.
I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Comfortable Coombe Cottage

Would just like to say thank for a wonderful stay. From start to finish,  superb welcome excellent cup of coffee lovely chat too. The accommodation is excellent, I have a fantastic room with a lovely bathroom fresh chilled filterd water, the breakfast was superb way too much but excellent. I can't recommend this place high enough. Thank you so much for a great stay

Excellent place

We stopped here for two nights for a local running event and highly recommend it. Our hosts were great and really helpful in working round our plans which involved an early start. Breakfast was really nice and all freshly prepared. Room comfortable with large private bathroom. Immaculately clean and tidy. Look forward to returning if we are in the area again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous

Really didn’t enjoy our stay here. Food was okay, although we prefer an English breakfast not a frittata & salad. Instant coffee in a cafetière was odd at breakfast. No tea/coffee facilities in room.  The room was comfortable, but I hated we didn’t have an ensuite. It said we had a private bathroom on the site, but I feel it was misleading as we had to leave our room and walk across the landing which isn’t what I expected. I will not be returning.
