Very enjoyable stay in this traditional Bed and Breakfast. Comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast. Had a parking space at the back of the property and it's so convenient for both thel Playhouse and the beach.  Will definitely be returning .

Great!

The location is minutes away from the beach and pier so an excellent location.
The staff are the friendliest, most accommodating hosts.
The room has everything you need with a huge walk in shower.
The breakfast was amazing, hosts even ask if you want extras after finishing.

We had a very pleasant one nights stay at the grove lodge guest house, the guest house was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was lovely and we will be booking again in the future.

For the last 3 years Grove Lodge used to be my Favourite place to stay and always settle my bill upon arrival but now I have to look for a new place since they changed the payment policy and must pay in advance, I hardly use my credit card online and not going to change that .

This guest house is in a great location, 5 minute walk to the beach/grand pier.
Our room was on the ground floor, spacious and very clean. Had everything you could need. 
Breakfast was great, you fill out a form and request what you'd like the day before.
Would definitely return if we venture down this way again.

Lovely guest house, great location

My husband and i loved this guest house. The owners were so nice and friendly.  The guest house is a 2 minute walk from the town centre and the beach is a 5 minute walk. The free breakfast was delicious and very fresh. I loved the toast as it was a good quality bread. Our room was very clean and a good size . We will be going back in the summer with our family and i cant wait

Lovely friendly place

This lovely guest house is situated right in the centre of town, opposite a beautiful Victorian park with a wonderful, ornate bandstand, and yet just a short stroll from the sea front. It has private parking to the rear. My room was large, warm and comfortable. Easy to use TV. Two really comfortable chairs to recline into. Very quiet at night. Really nice, welcoming owners. Superb breakfast. I am really glad I stayed here.

I really liked this place!

Stayed a single night at the Grove lodge and was pleased to have done so,  i prebooked the Grove lodge and was emailed instructions with a four digit code to unlock the front door and that my room key would be in an envelope with my name and room number on it and would be on reception has it was low contact in these covid times, sanitiser at front door entrance and on stairways, room was exceptionally clean and well laid out with tea/coffee and kettle and biscuits and flat screen tv and comfortable bed, easy to operate hot shower all at a reasonable cost,  location was excellent, own car parking space at the back with no problems getting in or out next to the nice Grove park good for relaxing a stroll round, two mins walking from the town centre and five from the sea front.
if there was one small negative it was there was no info on the wifi or password in the room or reception that i seen, superb breakfast was preordered the night before from a list of generous choices from cerials, yogurts and an excellant choice of cooked foods and toasts served in a pleasant front room  well laid out with your room number on each table.
Grove lodge bed and breakfast ticked all the boxes and i would fully recommend for a stay in weston super mare.

We stayed here for one night it had all you needed good breakfast good hosts parking round the back of the hotel. Easy walking to the sea front very easy overnight stay very good value for money. I would recommend it to you if you just want a nice clean room.

I wouldn't recommend staying here, this is the worst B&B we've ever stayed in! 

The rooms are dated, beds are squeaky, pillows are lumpy, our room was noisy (due to being across the road from the YMCA), the staircase is unsafe for elderly people & toddlers & the locks for the bedroom doors are a health & safety risk & don't work!

We asked for a quiet room (I stayed here with my mother & toddler) & we were told we'd be located on the ground floor, at the back of the building in a family room. Instead we were placed upstairs in a family room at the front of the property & heard noise late into the night from the street & passers-by! The gate leading to the property needs oiling & makes a loud noise whenever opened or closed & kept us awake.

We stayed here in Sept 2021 for 2 nights & over those days the weather was exceptionally hot. The 'fridge' inside the room didn't work & barely would hold more than a small bottle at best. When we told the owner Martin, this was brushed off with a shoddy excuse. The fan left in the room didn't work either. Again, when we told Martin this he didn't really seem to care. The pillows were lumpy & the duvets felt thin & cheap! The TV in the bedroom was temperamental & occasionally allowed us to switch channels. Our bathroom also had a musty smell throughout our stay.

Most worrying is that the fact that the lock for the bedroom door doesn't work and is real fire hazard & the key jams in the lock. We told Martin about this & again, this was brushed off with some excuse. One of the windows in our bedroom opened so far, it was a real hazard for my son & this is not a safe room for a toddler/child to be given as they could easily fall out out if left unattended for a few seconds. 

The owners were extremely unfriendly & it just seemed that once they'd received payment for the room, that was the end of their 'friendly' service offered & for the rest of our stay we were met by an unfriendly nature & we felt very uncomfortable for the duration of our stay there. I do not think this 'guesthouse' should be charging £90 a night for what we would class as a budget room. 

On our first day here we asked Martin for any suggestions of where to find a decent meal served nearby. He was unable to offer us any help with giving any suggestions on where to find a local restaurant nearby serving dinner. Given we were unable to find anywhere to eat, on our first evening we had to ask if they could heat up microwave meals for us & if we could eat it in their breakfast room. Again, we were met with disdain & they begrudgingly let us. The same response was given when we asked Martin if we could heat up my son's beaker that had milk inside and we felt that we were really troubling him by asking if he could heat it up for us.

We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable by Martin during our stay here and in all honesty we couldn't wait to leave.

To sum up, we wouldn't recommend this place at all & it doesn't deserve the title of being described as a guest house as they do not treat their guests very well at all!
