Unfortunately when we were there my partner slipped whilst exiting the hot tub and broke her arm as there was no rail to assist, the decking was like a sheet of ice, no anti slip treads as placed on the walkways to the front door of the lodge!
The accommodation was very nice and following an overnight fall of snow very picturesque!
The Station pub was also excellent!
Down side was that a barrier was across the entrance to the carpark which meant that if we had decided to go to A&E we couldn't get passed the barrier.
I e-mailed Mountain Edge and have still not even received any acknowledgement,  please note that we were not after compensation but just wanted to point out where we felt improvements could be made, 6 weeks on and my partner has not yet recovered!
For the lack of communication I will only give 1 star!

Unhappy with lack of response

Me and my boyfriend stayed in mega pod 6 and I can say it was AMAZING!! We’ve stayed before and we loved it then and came back for a second time and it was just as great. The mega pods are well equipped with kitchen utensils; strong. free wifi; Netflix; a spacious bathroom and to top it off you can see the tv from the comfy bed!

The best trip away by far!

Absolutely lovely and relaxing we stayed in a megapod . Hot tub was lovely . Very quiet which we wanted . Slept well . Nice and clean . Will definitely return . Went into church stretton the delicatessen sells lovely cheesecakes and salads so we took that back to our pod for our meal and veggie sausages on the bbq . People around us were nice . Lovely that dogs can go too . Would recommend it .

Lovely and relaxing

We stayed here in a mega pod, the site is in a beautiful, calm and peaceful area. The grounds are immaculate and well kept.
After travelling from a week in wales we arrived a little early, we appreciate checkin is normally from 4pm but on the whole most accommodation we’ve stay in have allow us to check in early if the accommodation is ready which I feel demonstrates good customer relations. However, even though the pod was ready a good few hours before we were not allowed in till 4:00pm on the dot - we cannot really see the reason in this and felt like we’d wasted the day waiting when the pod was ready ???? 
The pod accommodates four people but prices are based on 2 therefore, we had to pay £30 for an extra adult for two nights. Despite this charge we were not provided with any extra bedding or towels, and the adult slept on the sofa, luckily we’d had some bedding and towels with us from the previous accommodation we had stayed in.
The pod was clean and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately the mirror on the bathroom door was badly broken, it hadn’t been covered with any film and could have been hazardous if any had broken away, it was quite sharp in places and we had to be careful when opening the door handle not to catch our hands on the broken mirror or cause further damage.
The mega pods and lodges all have hot tubs, these are heated at an extra cost, adding this onto your nightly fee can sum up to an expensive nights stay so we didn’t bother.
Your requested and it is advisable to cook outside on a BBQ provided which is fantastic in the fine weather however could be limiting in the wet or colder weather - advise you take a large umbrella if cooking in the rain. 
We had a few drinks in the pub that’s on site, the younger staff were friendly. However, I witnessed an very uncomfortable situation where a older female member of staff was quite rude to a customer who clearly had a language barrier, this was in front of a full bar I wanted to help the customer but felt it may have added to her embarrassment of already been humiliated in front of others. We had planned on eating there but after witnessing the situation it put us off. Additionally we had our dog with us which meant eating in the bar and when looking at the menu we felt the prices were very expensive for a bar meal.
In conclusion even with the points discussed we would return, purely because the site is so relaxing, and peaceful.

Relaxing site

Stayed this weekend, what a beautiful lodge and location. Big enough space for the two of us and we paid for the hot tub which you should definitely do if you go! We had a bbq and had trouble starting it but the staff was very attentive and helped us straight away. Definitely have a meal at the station inn as the food is delicious!! The waterfall walk is beautiful to do in church stretton. 

A few downsides was that there was no soap for washing our hands, a small bar would’ve been nice to have, we brought our own shower gel etc but didn’t think we’d have to bring our own soap! Also we was not provided with a sponge for washing up. The bedroom has a few big cobwebs which would’ve been nice to have been taken away, especially as they are so large and I don’t really like spiders, I didn’t sleep in the bedroom due to the huge spider webs above our head. The sofa bed was comfy enough though. 

Just some little things that could’ve made the trip 5*. 

Weekend away

the pod was ok but the fact that you are not alloud to park outside yours pod when there is plenty of room was a problem for us , to meny steps to get to your pod , i was disapponted with this we had to make 3 trips to the car in the car park and one time we could not find a space , all need looking at , Also £50 for hot tub and £15 because we arrived early not good ,

Mandy is so friendly & good at her job! The pub is fantastic if a bit pricey… the Lodges are lovely!! The area is so naturally beautiful. Highly recommend. 
Our third visit: great for dogs too!
I wish you could still hire bikes! Missing a trick there. What a lovely place- so relaxing.

Lodges

We purchased a Groupon for the camping pod for two, two nights, in May. The pods are really cute, the toilet block and shower are kept relatively clean and the staff in the pub were super friendly and great with our dog. The food there, for dinner, was incredible and they accommodate your dog with water/sitting you in the bar bit for dinner. There isn't really anywhere to walk from the doorstep, we ended up stuck along the main road but you are only a drive away from Church Stretton and tonnes of incredible walks. 

My only criticism is that on their website, it's not made clear that Mountain Edge accommodation is part of the pub itself. Perhaps this was because we booked through Groupon, but there was no communication between Groupon and the site. The first time we booked using the Groupon booking tool and they didn't receive our booking so had to go on another date. Then when we were on route to stay with them, we tried to call them but kept getting put through to the bike shop. This part of the set-up was all a bit strange and perhaps the website should explain what number to call a bit better.

Camping Pod for Two Nights was Lovely

So peaceful and relaxing here. Whether you have a pod or a cabin you can't go wrong staying here.  There is a pub next door that serves great meals, a local butchers and a bike hire on site. We have stayed a few times and loved it every time.

Perfect for a chill and to reconnect with family & friends 
The staff have always been very helpful cabins & pods always clean and ready on our arrival 

Only negative last time was noisy drunken guests in another cabin who clearly had no thought for others
Same people had 3 dogs who just roamed the grassy areas with no regard for others
I did feel that this could and should be monitored by the staff at mountain edge … 
Responsible dog owners only 
This needs to be advised strongly together with the “dog friendly” tag
