I booked this apartment for what I thought would be a nice surprise for my family who flew 3,000 miles to visit. Owner never answered my calls and we never gained access to the property. Luckily managed to sort a refund through my Credit card company but was frustrating nonetheless as we had 8 people in the pouring rain outside during storm Dennis. How is this apartment still available to be booked? I’ve read so many similar reviews and hope they close it down.

Total scam - do not book!!!

So where do we start, the host double booked me with another person, didn’t find out until the day, so I was given another room, quite smaller.

Firstly the bathroom door handle was broken so you couldn’t exit without someone being on the outside waiting for you.

Carpet was filthy and there were stains on the bed sheets.

Balcony doors were a mission to close.

Host didn’t return our damage deposit even though his assistant came and said the place was perfect.

Host was very intrusive and kept coming to the apartment during the stay.

No heating so we would practically be freezing to death, forces to sleep in jackets due to dirty bed sheets.

Internet wasn’t working.

Terrible customer service, host would decline calls and say “Please text me” probably due to not knowing what to say when confronted.

All in all book this apartment if you’d like to get scammed, honestly, only reason you’d want this place.

Apartment out of a nightmare

Do not be fooled by the pictures which were obviusly taken when the complex was first refurbished, we arrived to curtains falling off the rails, all doors and windows did not close or lock, because of this, the apartment was freezing cold, owner had the cheek to text me at 10.30pm asking if I was at the apartment so I could let someone in downstairs, wow, really. !! handles missing off doors, last guest rubbish etc all left, not cleaned, heavily stained carpets, To be honest, i could go on. And to top it all, no part refund offered apart from 25% off the next stay. Yeah OK, Because I am really going to stay here again. NOT !!!

Terrible Place- Avoid at all Costs

Do not go there! It is the worst I have evere experienced. Dirty and broken. Do not let photos fool you. It is nothing like it.  Health and safety should close this place down. Traces of bodily waste and drug abuse everywhere.

Total scam

Worst place ever! Arrived with my kids. First, no one was there to welcome. I walked all over the building until I heard noise. I knocked on that door and voila! He answered. He walked us to our apartment- different from the picture. Went through a back door. Place had stains everywhere. Closet had an empty beer bottle. Towels were air dried, no ac, no internet. Around 2am, my son woke me up to tell me that there’s a mouse in the living room. By the time I got up to check, the mice ran passed me. I got my kids up and got an uber and left. Couldn’t take it. I contacted them for a refund, they denied that they had mice and told my rep that I never notified them. I have proof of messages to them. They really just need to invest and fix it up. Doors don’t lock and they leave the doors open to ventilate without nets; hence mice!

Horrible stay- Mice at 2:30am

I stayed here for one night and thank god it was only one night. I stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and no joke I had about 2 hours sleep. Firstly, the doors do not SHUT or LOCK so I wouldn't feel safe leaving any of my belongings here. The apartment was on the bottom floor and had 4 sliding doors, none had handles and they could have so easily have been slid open from the outside and all your belongings stolen. No way on this earth did they even closely shut. The windows/balcony doors in all 3 bedrooms didn't shut either and the cold air flows in. I would also like to add cars were driving past every second so it was very noisy, also MINUS ONE DEGREE WITH WINDOWS THAT DONT SHUT AND THE HEATING DIDNT WORK. It was freezing, the carpets had just been cleaned, still had red wine marks everywhere and were wet and cold. The bathrooms had massive amounts of mould on the ceilings, the tap was falling off, shower was disgustingly dirty. One toilet roll for 6 people staying there and no towels given. The wardrobes were also SLANTED and the doors had fallen off, couldn't have even put any clothes in them. The place was just freezing cold, bedding had stains and to say the least the communication was very minimal. With "OK" being a average reply. Save your money and go to the Holiday Inn next door. I honestly think anyone who gives this a good response is management making fake accounts. oh and also... no cutlery, plates, cups or any tableware as photographed. The sofa was sticky with drink, the remotes were sticky... someone obviously uses this and gets it trashed and then it is also let out as a apartment.

A CATFISH OF A APARTMENT

Originally, I booked the 3 bedroom king size room, which is different to the pictures. However a day before my booking a friend notices one of his friends had booked the exact same but a month before me. The host didn’t tell me what I paid for was double booked until the night before.

He had an alternative apartment for me which was a 2 bedroom. 

Upon arrival he had me waiting outside for over 30 minutes. declining my phone calls repetitively, texting “5 minutes”. 

After completing my booking he has refused to return my damage deposit and kept telling me to leave after me and my friends had cleaned up, we waited until 7:30pm the next day for the host to return with the money however he didn’t.. so we left and got scammed.

DO NOT! Book here if you’re Ed looking for good service, they’re scammers and liars.

Booking from hell.

Lovely, modern and spacious apartment with great city views! Easy to get to with train station very nearby and lots of food choices next door as-well! Friendly and helpful manager checked us in very quickly! Would recommend especially for larger groups, booked a two bedroom but could easily sleep a minimum of 6 people. Great prices aswell!

Loved it!

I stayed in this apartment last week for 8 nights. Before we left reading the reviews it looked like we were going to a campsite. The situation is not so tragic. The location is great for both the bus and the subway, it's in the area 2 minutes from downtown and a stop from the Tower of London. The apartment itself is spacious, with 2 bathrooms but in fact the furniture and carpets are stained or partially broken. So what we had to do, which is sleep in it, went more than well. I wouldn't go back just because I'm going to see other neighborhoods.

Not as terrible as they described it.

When we got in, things seemed great! The guy met us for late check-in, and even mentioned putting us in a larger suite due to the size of our family. He also said he would come back with an extra sheet and more towels since there were only 4 (& 6 of us). Well he came back and what  he gave us wasn't  a sheet. It wa a duvet cover. That was actually a good thing because the white comforter had a huge brown stain on both sides so we were able to use the duvet cover to cover it up. The next evening a kid showed up, knocked, and walked right on in. He had 4 more towels. I told my stepson to ask him for some cups as there were NONE in there. Nor were there any bowls or regular silverware, we had ONE dish towel, and NO hand towels for the bathroom. In addition, the outside door nob to the bathroom came off the on the first night and the the inside knob fell the next evening. So for  the rest of the stay we had to yell, "I'm going to the bathroom. Don't come in." On Tuesday we texted our travel agent and he agreed to clean the apartment on Wednesday. Well, they vacuumed and took the trash out, but took our bath mat and dish rag. Unfortunately, the kid who dropped the towels was nowhere to be found. There is only one remote in the apartment for both TVs. One morning we woke up to the bathroom flooded. The sink faucet looked like it was off, but wasn't. The water was creeping up onto the counter of the faucet and down to the floor. Then the horrible marijuana stench leaking in to our apartment from somewhere.  It lasted 4 days straight. I can understand some,  but the smell was sooo strong and did not dissipate until the day before we were leaving. Lastly,  there is no A/C. It was hot in the apartment all week.
