The staff were rude. Reception was filthy. The room was girly and full of mud and dust and hair. The toilet was filthy and full of irony and excrement and the shower was unusable. Not even worth £6 a night.

Paid for 22 nights, stayed 16 & didn't get a refund or exchange the days, as happy to leave, as no one from the staff even greet you - reminded me of the zombies from Shaun of the dead no atmosphere at all. The cat living here sat around me staring and meowing while I ate and no one moved it, so it roams freely on the tables and smelling the cutlery.

Hostel is located in a suburb so be prepared it's near nothing if your a tourist.

Comfort of room 3/10 (looked like a mental institution - lifeless)

Manager 8/10 (only person not holding a phone and actually acknowledged me everytime and smiled!
Cleanliness of hostel 8/10 - although the bed linen oddly was never changed in 22 days :/ even the 7 days I was away still never changed....

Would I stay here again...maybe as atleast you were left alone and no one makes eye contact!

i have for a 30day  i no like the room and the plase it is  i the booking was 343 for 30day i have pay 300 p i have reco of what i have pay for 300 lol i have c out no refun can i have my meney back the black girl she is not nice to me last week she put me out of h i have went to the next r on she booking for 2week i have ex the s what i was i

Great place! Very clean and comfortable.
Really had a good time.
Very cheep and breakfast included in the price!
The only negative thing was that receptionist (the lady with the French accent) she was very rude, very impolite not friendly at all. There was someone in my room who was canned so suppose not to be there and when I reported it to her she went like...there is nothing I can do. Also when I went to the reception to check out the reception was closed(9:20 am) so I had to wait almost for 40min. And when I told her she said to me...get lost!

Two bedrooms with shower and toilet, clean and quiet perfect for sleeping... bus stop Dacre Park 3 minutes to Lewisham and railway station Hither Green 10 minutes away.

I was in Via lewisham for 2 weeks, very by good hostel, good price, nice people at reception, the general ambient is quiet and nice.Hostel is well kept and clean. Good working kitchen.
I liked and I will come back.

Good hostel

Overall our stay here wasn't bad. Its clean, there's a bus stop 2 minutes away, what more do you really need?
When we arrived the first night we rang the bell and were buzzed in immediately, staff were friendly and sorted everything.
Second night, a few of us returned without a card-carrying party member, expecting to be buzzed in as we were the night previous. However when we rang the bell we got no reply at all. 5 minutes of solid buzzing and still no reply. Were the staff outside smoking, or asleep? Apparently not, as after 50 minutes of standing in the rain, ringing the bell repeatedly, a fellow resident let us in, and we discovered that the staff had simply been ignoring us the whole time. They could hear the bell, and see us on the cctv, but still decided to just ignore us. We were obviously staying there given we were carrying suitcases. Dumbfounding. 
Other than that it was alright. Those staff need checked out.

Fine place, dodgy staff

They give me a non working card for the room, and this girl on reception hold me 90 minutes to update something they did wrong. ..she put me to wait till she finishes check ins totally ignoring me wich I was already staying  it's stupid  because it was their mistake 😤👇👎👎👎👎👎👎

Staff awful

What a HORRIBLE place to be... I still cannot believe that I slept there one night. So I booked 2 nights, paid, and went there. It is outside of London, there is no underground going there. The place is very dirty. The personnel in reception and the so-called "manager" were very weird and rude. They said they cannot see my payment on their system and they tried to deduct the money again from my account. I showed them my booking.com account and bank account, to convince them I paid so I got to my room... Oh my god! The room had 8 beds, extremely small, it has nothing to do with the pictures on the website... The whole building is very old and you don't feel safe at all. No air conditioning whatsoever, the room was smelling feet and I had to leave windows open for an hour in the cold weather so I could get some fresh air. I wanted to go to toilet, both toilets in the floor were blocked and full with urine!! I still can't get the image out of my head! I had to go 2 stairs down and use the toilets in the entrance. I don't even want to talk about the shower but yeah... No one has ever cleaned that showers! Full of hair and full of dirt... Unbelievable! I have stayed in many hostels in my life, never expected such a bad one in London!
The next morning I checked out, even though I paid for 2 nights in advance. There was another woman in reception and she also told me that they did not get the payment. I said she should talk to booking.com and call her colleagues who let me in last night. But apparently they did not even bother to leave a note about the situation so I had to explain what happened last night again... So I left the place.
Right now I realized they tried to get money again from my account. I have contacted booking.com I hope they can solve it. If they have troubles getting the money through booking.com then they should not work together I suppose! Horrible service, horrible management! This hostel should not even be on this website!

Unexpectedly bad!

Sh*t covered toilet paper in the loo's, "water" on the floor never cleaned, keycard didnt work on arrival. I guess its cheap. Room was ok. I was in a six bed room, but some people in our room were double booked so there was more people than beds for a while.
