Travelling for a sports event so needed somewhere close to the venue. Arrived late which peaked the interest of a passing fox. Room was tidy as always, staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, what more do you need!

Excellent stay

Looked like a building site,  cleanliness to be desired.
Food very greasy.
Floid light blinding in room. Sleep disturbed. 
Car park very noisy, staff breaks in cars with lights shining and loud voices. Disappointing stay.



Not what I expected

Stayed here so my daughter could attend a course for the weekend and it didn't disappoint, Hotel looked good on arrival reception area clean and welcoming staff were polite kind and helpful. Room was as expected very clean smelled fresh and had everything to suit our needs as a family

Great Hotel

The hotel was in an ideal location for us to visit family. Stayed in premiers inn before and must say this was defo in need of refurbishment. Meals were taken in the nearby beefeater pub the only problem was the access which was either by steps or ramps. There was lighting fitted but never turned on.

Visiting family

Can not complain about anything with our stay at the hotel. We were guests at a wedding locally so wanted somewhere we could get ready for the wedding and have a clean room to spend the night.  
We arrived just around 11 and paid the extra £10 per room to get in early which we were happy to do.  
Rooms were spotless and everything was there that we needed.  
Gavin on reception was very helpful asked if we needed any help on the local area or to get to the wedding.  
Breakfast in the beefeaters the next morning was lovely and back to the hotel room to pack away our stuff.  Not an issue at all.  Would stay at the hotel happily again. 

Spotless and very friendly


Very cheap and exactly as I expected. Friendly staff, quick check-in and a nice room. The room had a heater, which was better than the last hotel which I stayed in which was very cold. I wish there could be some soy milk pods in the room though.

Good value for money

The hotel has stale smell of old food through out. Dead flies all over the corridor and in the room. The rooms need a good clean up and paint job everything from the walls to skirting boards are marked and scuffed. The mattress on the bed drooped at one side and dust everywhere and the remote control covered in tomato sauce, well at least it looked like that! The location was a area I didn't feel comfortable going out alone or leaving the car in the parking area , it  didn't feel like a safe area

Shabby, smelly hotel

Staff were pleasant at the hotel, the hotel itself  is tired and grubby we were in room 9 the whole bottom floor stunk of sweaty feet, the walls had stuff all over them the ceiling was all stained the  breakfast was a shambles 30 minutes for rock hard poached eggs and no one else was eating what a shambles.walk out in the end stayed at premium inn all our lives but what a experience this was .

Hostel

Used nappies found in room, staff on day were good and we got the breakfast i had just paid for refunded but 2 weeks later still waiting on room refund because this disgusting unclean health and saftey issue 'doesnt fall under their guarantee remit'!

Dampness on roof of bathroom was disgusting , prevented us from having a shower made recrption aware of this in morning was told (oh is it back again) clearly they knew of this issue ,facing onto carpark ground floor no privacy curtain which meant heavy curtains mostly closed which wasnt acceptable , basically a terrible experience , wont be back , also sofa dirty & marked , it is advertised as having no aircon which i didnt know , but room was like a furnsnce , sll in all a horrible time
