Found this gem run by the very hospitable Bob & Pauline, whilst looking to avoid the daylight robbery of prices in St Andrews but not far from the lovely town & beach. 

Facilities super easy to find, tucked away near the heart of the gem of a market town. Allowed us an early check in & provided lots of help on the local area too. 

Room 3 (family room) was very spacious & next to the huge shared bathroom. Bed, duvet & pillows felt super luxurious. 

In the morning breakfast was more like a banquet, ready when we asked for too with plenty of beverages too. 

Can’t recommend this B&B any more highly, we will be back again at some point when we’re in the area.

Cracking B&B near St Andrews.

We just had a lovely stay with Pauline and Bob at their B&B.  They are so welcoming and lovely.  
Our room was clean and comfortable and home from home.
Bob cooks the best breakfast - such fluffy scrambled eggs!

Fabulous Brae

Stayed overnight with a group of friends at the delightful Brae B n B in Cupar. A great welcome from  hosts Pauline and Bob making us feel very at home. Rooms were beautiful very comfortable and clean. The house is a fabulous eclectic mix of Interior Artefacts with lovely decorated lounge and kitchen and good size very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms.   We also had use of a fabulous garden and hot tub! Breakfast was excellent  and plenty of tea coffee etc on offer. A great place, very much enjoyed by all in our group.  Thank you Pauline and Bob for a lovely time in Cupar. 
We hope to return to the Brae ❤️👍

Great welcome at the Brae

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we received fantastic service from Pauline and Bob. The house is  in a perfect location  and the added touches, such as a well stocked fridge in the bedroom, was  a lovely welcoming gesture. Breakfast was deeliciousssss!  I guarantee you won’t be disappointed if you book here.  Thank you Pauline and Bob.

My wife and I went up to Cupar for a two night stay to visit my grandson who was working near bye we stayed in the Brae Cottage our hosts where Pauline and Bill we where giving a ground floor room that was very luxurious and with the best end suite I have ever seen Pauline and Bill made our stay very pleasant and could not do enough for us 

Two day visit to Cupar

Would highly recommend a stay in Brae cottage. 
Friendly owners, lovely accommodation and great breakfast.
 Kids loved the hot tub and also feeding the rabbits and chickens in the morning.
Good central location to town center.

This is the definitive place to start and finish one's scottish pilgrimage within this region. Bob and Pauline are the most dedicate hosts one could ask, the place is cosy, inviting and offers Bob's excellent breakfast!

 Absolutely outstanding!!

I cannot recommend Brae Cottage highly enough. If you need to stay anywhere in this area, do yourself a favour and check in with them. I stayed with my elderly mum and my children and we were all made to feel so very welcome, despite a flight cancellation that meant we turned up 24 hours after we should have. 

The rooms are homely, bright and comfortable with everything that you might need; the honesty box for drinks and snacks provided in each room is charming; the location is bang in the middle of Cupar with off-street parking; and Pauline and Bob themselves felt like old friends. The breakfast they provided was a home-cooked feast. I wish we'd had a chance to stay longer. Thank you for a wonderful, wonderful stay. I feel we won the top prize when we clicked 'book' on Brae Cottage.

Absolutely amazing

We have stayed at Brae Cottage with Pauline and Bob on and off over the last four years, while visiting relatives.  We wouldn't stay anywhere else!  They always give us a warm welcome, and as someone already said, it is home from home.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts are delicious.  Eggs are fresh from their own chickens, and Bob has just built a hot tub, not that we have had the courage to venture into it, yet!
Pauline and Bob always have great recommendations of places to visit, (we went to Arbroath and Anstruther on our this visit).

Best B&B in Scotland!

Sorry it’s taken us so long to write a very well deserved fantastic review. Pauline and Bob were amazing hosts. Our stay was part of my hubby’s 50th birthday celebrations - we were dining at The Peat Inn (  Michelin star restaurant). I had let Pauline and Bob know our plans and when we arrived they had decorated our room and left us a bottle of bubbles. It helped make the occasion even more special. They had also just installed an en-suite shower and toilet, which was fantastic.
Our room was spacious, homely, comfortable and clean and breakfast was spot on.
We would certainly stay again and definitely recommend anybody to stay.
Thank you Pauline and Bob for making our stay so special!
