Caravan was spotless, as ever! Have been here 3 times now and have never been disappointed. Staff are very friendly and willing to help. The location is excellent and only a short trip in the bus into Edinburgh.

Seton Sands every time

On arrival given an upgrade from bronze to gold. Accommodation was great and comfortable. Only minor problem could have done with instructions for the central heating system.  Service in the restaurant was an improvement since we last stayed in the summer.  The entertainment and bar staff worked really hard. Security staff and management are helpful and polite.  As for the site,  the area around the football area needs a serious upgrade. My family love the pool.

Convenient for Edinburgh

Great caravan site about half a mile from the town of Port Seton. The site is very clean & well looked after. The beach is just cobbles but it's a lovely walk into town. There's a bus takes you from campsite into Edinburgh, but its about an hour. Good shops in town, with a great Chinese takeaway, chippy & pub.

Nice wee break.

Arrived at the park easy to check in and good directions to caravan. Upon arrival van wasn't the cleanest but know staff don't have alot of time in each van and we couldn't be bothered with the hassle of going back to reception with young kids. Also didnt have enough towels for everyone. Evening entertainment was great especially for kids. Entertainment staff are brilliant. Facilities are in need of attention. 6 ladies toilets in show bar but took 4 attempts to find one that was clean, would lock, had loo roll etc etc. There is no longer a soft play area on site even though it shows on map there is one. Apparently arcades are going aswell??? As was told when in there. So when weather is bad there is not much to do on site.  Pool is fun for older kids but for toddlers/babies it's cold and the only changing facilities is a plastic changing table situated in the main changing room area so no privacy and makes it difficult if no other adult there to help as no straps to secure little one in. Shop on site had great friendly staff and prices as expected didn't find it overly priced expect for large bottles of juice. Shop in show bar had fantastic staff couldn't praise the lady enough she was lovely!!! Good range of activities but if raining be prepared to get wet. Restaurant on site has great deals and reasonably priced for eating out just didn't agree with dogs being around us while eating especially the yappy ones that owners don't bother to keep quiet. And also staff didn't seem to be interested in any customer service. We had a meal missing and items missing from other meal. The option of getting a second key for £5 deposit was great as meant we could split up and do different things but all still have a key.  Arcade is adequate. Not huge but fair amount of machines and well stocked with prizes that are winnable and the staff were fantastic and went above and beyond!!!! Onsite chippy was fantastic. Best chips we've had! Also great that can order food and drinks to table in show bar especially when have kids and don't want to leave table. Over all we made it a good holiday but unfortunately won't be back when other places offer more and it is need of some much tlc.

Recent and honest 

Myself and my husband booked a silver accommodation with 2 bedrooms, with decking as no matter the weather I like to have a seat and a coffee and watch the world go by,we were given our location 24hrs before our stay, we arrived just after 1pm and thought we had made a mistake as our accommodation was more like a lodge it was absolutely stunning 24 Kingsbarns, massive living room and kitchen area with beautiful furnishings all brand new, under unit lighting that changed colour, dining area, washer dryer and dishwasher 😯, very spacious unsuite shower room and also another separate shower room with very large twin beds, we couldn't have been happier,  we were obviously upgraded for some reason for which we were very grateful we didn't want to leave, thus location was sooooo quiet it suited us perfectly we will be back definitely 😀 

Relaxing times

Highly recommend SS caravan park even off season. We visited with family & our 🐶 in December, Karan our host didn’t disappoint. More than adequate heating which helped make our stay comfortable and memorable. On site security were very pleasant & helpful. We used the caravan as a base, we were made aware prior to travelling that amenities were closed (seasonal) , we’ll definitely be back.

Christmas

This is the second year running that we've come 410 miles from Kent to this great caravan park.

I'm not quite sure how it managed it but this time round was as good if not better than the last. This park is one of the most well kept out of the 7 or 8 Haven parks we've stayed at. And I have to state once again that it is by far the best. 

The staff here are extremely polite, welcoming, warm, helpful and down to earth and by that I mean approachable. 

We stayed in a Gold caravan and it was amazing. The pictures clearly speak for themselves.

The food was great, but as before a little on the pricey side. But very well presented and cooked. The onsite fish & Chip shop has some great wholesome food, but as always very expensive. Just be prepared that if you can't get off site, you will need a large wallet. The beach is literally just outside the font of the park and you never find a more clean beach that's full of wildlife. The smells from the sea were intoxicating. 

Edinburgh is a 25 minute drive away, but this is like any city, extremely hard to navigate because of frequently changing road setups and general road works. So be careful when using your SATNAV, it's not always telling you the truth. Keep and sharp eye out for road works signs and general signs. If you aren't sure, always pull up a nice ticket warden, I did and she was so lovely and very helpful. If you have a blue badge you can park in the 4 hour limit public bays and the time limit doesn't apply to blue badge holders, nor do you pay.

But with all that said, there really isn't anything bad about the park, it's wonderful, refreshing and the entertainment at nigh time was really great. We really didn't won't to leave.

We will be back for more and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Second time here, and we'll be coming back.

Just a huge thank you esp to Laura in making sure my son had an amazing 7th birthday. Huge thanks to as my daughter was included. Fantastic memories. 
Lots to do and see and spoiled for choice. Ran out of time to do everything on our list!

Birthday time at Seton Sands

Expensive,dirty and food service a shambles
Nothing much to do,  pool restricted. Drink prices through the roof. Beach dirty and being harassed to buy a caravan. Staff clueless, needs a makeover. Entertainment rubbish.

Bad Holiday

Really enjoyed our short stay when we were up in the area for rugby at Murrayfield.  It was a great alternative to a hotel - the kids had their own rooms and there was plenty of space to spread out.  The heating was quick and made for a cosy retreat.  Check in with security was straightforward and the caravan was clean.  All this and the No26 bus took us from the site right up to Edinburgh in about an hour for  less than a tenner return for all four of us! We will return
