There WAS one good thing: it was clean. However, the automated check-in system meant that there wasn’t a human being to interact with at reception. The alarm (ear-splitting) which went off in my room in the middle of the night woke the whole house, and I had to phone someone (presumably miles away) to get it switched off. I couldn’t get back to sleep for the rest of the night. Additionally, the shower didn’t work properly - either cold or scalding, and if I tried to adjust it, it diminished to a dribble. AVOID. 

A horrible night’s experience, but at least it was clean.

No information on how to gain entry, nobody to greet you, you have to ring them!

We had a lot of difficulty accessing the room after being told several different codes.. talking to other customers and they all had the same trouble!

Terrible

Where do I start.. £180 down the drain. You’d expect there to be some kind of standard when paying this amount of money, instead we were met by deteriorating walls, a door that doesn’t fit its frame, ridiculously loud traffic due to still having single glazed windows in 2023. A bath with 2 showers, one on either side (both of which lacked decent water pressure) oh, and of course the bath didn’t have a bath plug… overall, please don’t waste your hard earned money on this shoddy hotel. Go to premiere inn.

Awful

Arrived there not knowing that it was Gay Pride weekend. Sign on the door said that it was permanently closed!! At least four other lots of people turned up in the half hour we were there wondering what to do. My belief is that they sold the rooms hundreds of times over, took people's money, then had a weekend away themselves! They were certainly back in business a week or so later!!

Absolute Liars!

This is literally a place for pigs! The bathroom needs a really good clean and bleach. The spare blanket was covered in what appeared to be vomit. The bedcovers were stained. The carpet I don’t think has ever seen a hoover! The shower (a loose term) was scalding hot then freezing cold. There was so much noise over night from other guests and it was probably one of the most uneasy feelings I’ve ever had staying away from home. I have contacted asking for a refund due to the poor conditions but I’m not holding out much hope as I did complete my stay here, which was more through necessity than wanting to!!

Don’t bother!

Me and a friend stayed here for 2 nights . Upon our arrival we had a email to check in as there isn’t a reception at this hotel . We only had received the front door code and no information on which room we were staying in . We decided to ring the numbers provided with our booking with all of them going straight to voicemail. After 40 minutes luckily a man who must have worked for the hotel arrived and we got hold of the owner who told us our twin room had been double booked  which meant we had to have a double room

Our experience

Absolutely disgusted with this place. They sent me a TEXT MESSAGE at 2318hrs informing me they were cancelling my booking which I had made 7 weeks prior!! We were due to get up for our flight from Glasgow to Gatwick at 3am. After receiving the text I then spent hours on the phone to Expedia trying to find my wife and I alternative accommodation in Brighton. So you can imagine I then didn’t get any sleep before we were to leave for our flight. We were travelling to Brighton to an event that I bought my wife for her birthday. The stress and lack of sleep caused the night before we were due was completely unacceptable and avoidable. My advice would be to avoid booking here as they are completely unreliable!! 

Overbooked and unreliable 

Don’t book had to cancel as farther in-law taken really ill and we had to pay before when we booked stated that you can get money back well now they have block our number or have changed there’s been trying for weeks to get money back and saying that have been taken over by someone else but management still the same so don’t book 

Weekend away 

Rooms are dirty, the sheets and towels were clean but the surrounding was dirty. Carpets sticky and mould in shower. It’s cheap so you get what you pay for. It felt more like a private room hostel. Be aware that when you arrive you have to wait until 10 to 3 for the hotel to text or email you with the code to get in. You cannot just arrive without the code, there are no staff and the number you are given to call doesn’t work. One lady was sat on the doorstep for hours as she couldn’t get in, she didn’t have a smart phone so couldn’t access emails. Location is very good, if you are happy with one step up from a hostel then go for it.
