Springfield House - Birmingham Airport & NEC

A group of 5 of us stayed for one night as we were attending Crufts at the NEC. 
Our host was welcoming and accommodating as we arrived, recommending where to go to eat that evening. 
We were all shown to our rooms (3 in total), all of which were clean and comfy and given a preorder sheet to fill in for breakfast the next morning for a time that suited us. 
The beds were comfy and we all got a great night sleep before our next busy day. 
When we came down for breakfast our tea and cereal was already set out on the table and there wasn’t a long wait for the hot food. All of our plates went back empty and it set us up well for the rest of our day. 
We would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the NEC or nearby. Our car was safely off the road for the evening and it was a good distance from the NEC.

Crufts Stay

We wanted to stay somewhere near the NEC and Springfield was a great find. A very warm welcome and the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in.  Perfect location close to lots of pubs and restaurants. So much better value than the resort hotel we stayed in last year for the same event!
Would have no hesitation in recommending or returning.

A friendly and welcoming stop over

We were a family of 3 adults who stayed at Springfield House the night before we flew from Birmingham Airport. On arrival, we were greeted very warmly by the owners James & Hansel. The room was spotless, as was the en-suite. There were several places we could choose to eat at, just down the road, so we were able to walk into the centre of town. We had to leave very early the next morning, but James offered us cereals in the room or a grab & go breakfast. He also arranged for a taxi to collect us at 4.15am. We were able to leave our car for the duration of the holiday - the parking was very secure and there was CCTV which was very reassuring. When we arrived back at Birmingham Airport, James & Hansel brought our car to us so we could make our way straight home. We would highly recommend James, Hansel & Springfield House & will certainly stay again as  Birmingham Airport is our preferred departure location.

We stayed for one night.  Everything was excellent, spotless, very comfortable lovely room.  Breakfast was very nice.  James and Hansel were very welcoming. We would highly recommend Springfield House and will definitely stay again. 

Wonderful place to stay

I used this property as my base in Birmingham while I was attending an event at the NEC. It was so conveniently located the owners were so friendly and helpful that I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lodging, should I have another event in Birmingham? The property has been recently updated. I really like the modern bathroom facilities.

A perfect place to start a holiday from Birmingham Intl. the accommodation is smart clean and very comfortable. Lots of great places to eat. We also took advantage of leaving the car during our holiday and James and Hansel brought my car to the airport. It couldn’t have gone smoother. Highly recommended

Perfect place

My first time staying at this B&B and will definitely book again for my next trip! The owners were absolutely wonderful and make you feel very comfortable during your stay. I stayed for 4 nights and have no complaints whatsoever! The place has a nice cosy feeling to it and the decor is lovely. The room itself was very clean and I especially loved how comfortable the bed was - with a bonus of netflix on the smartTV! The breakfast was delicious and a great start to my mornings! The B&B is a short walking distance from the high street so plenty of shops, restaurants/pubs to choose from. Looking forward to staying again!

Excellent stay. Lovely Breakfast. Room was lovely, very clean facilities and everything you needed. Beds were very comfy too. Service was excellent too. Owners very helpful and friendly. No complaints at all/
