The hotel is a cooperator, it's a bed-and-breakfast, yes, it's a bit unfortunate, but I love it. It's not roads and it's nice, it's a modest half-luxury.

To fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere, I recommend listening to the appropriate music.

When I went to study in Kiev, I stayed in a cooperator. The rooms are very modest, but cheap and close to the center. The plus is that breakfast is included in the cost of living.

A tough middle-aged girl.

The standard room was paid 980 UAH. The standard turned out to be worse than the economy class.Old torn curtains, dirty stained roofs, old screw-up furniture, all the doors were the same, there was no hot water. In the shower there was burning hair in the net. Do you think it's all settled?The elevator hung an announcement that apologized for the construction work from 9.00-18.00.

Don 't come back even after repairs.

I didn't want to spend too much on living, I had to spend one night, because I was on a business trip... I didn't spend too much, but the impression was simple... all the furniture is old, scraped up.

If there's no place to stay

I needed a cheap room for the night not far from Kiev airport and train station. A single room Econom cost 393 UAH per night, without breakfast. For Kiev it's already very cheap. Even cheaper would be a place to stay in a hostel, with three or seven other people in the room. So, booked directly from the hotel website. Confirmation came almost a week later, only after I sent an email to the reception. All staff were generous and helpful, and all you can give to the hotel Note 4. The wallpaper in the room is partially torn down. Not to say that they, like almost everything else in the room, are extremely old. The bathroom, if they could be built at a good price, could be built with a good gray roof. So even with one room, it would be much cheaper to build.

Suitable for one night

I went to Kiev with my husband and children for a couple of days to rest, I booked a room on the phone, the number Lux was 1400 UAH. We arrived there at 1-1:30 in the night (I emphasize with the children of 3.5 and 2 years), there was no time to check the room because it was already night and we were tired from the road. When I paid attention to the price, 1400 UAH - this is how I booked not a Lux, but a half Lux. We entered the room... And there, probably repairs from the Soviet times, the furniture is just as simple, shiny and old.

No more feet!!!

I don't think it's scary, but I can't recommend it. Fans and teacups can be taken from the administration. Shower is a curtain bath. There were problems with breakfast.

Just spend the night.

After coming from where I came from, it seemed like a palace. It's still a bed and a bathroom but right. Nice staff. Well-located. Currency exchange office, economics and a side cafeteria open 24 hours a day and WI-FI very important...whatever it goes but goes.

 Soviet austerity

When I arrived at 00:45 in Kiev after a long train journey from Minsk, I was an easy prey for taxi drivers. I had made a reservation in a guesthouse somewhere, but the taxidriver (allegedly) was unable to find it. I was tired and understood only slowly that he was cheating me, but then I said: "bring me to whatever middle class hotel." And then he brought me to Kooperator. The taxi driver asked 300 hrivna (€ 30). Later I saw the same taxi driver hanging around at the hotel. I guess they cooperate (hence the name of the hotel?)

I found the hotel quite mediocre, althought nicely centrally situated. Perhaps I paid more due to my arrival in the middle of the night, pretty exhausted. I did not even try the hotel breakfast, but you can have a good (although small) breakfast on the terrace in front of the hotel.

I guess the hotel is Russian-oriented, since I heard them pronounce the name in the Russian way ("Kaaparetar"), with "vowel reduction", a feature Ukrainian language does not have.

Be warned

I stayed this hotel 4 nights. Very comfortable and in safe for foreigners especially Japanese. Around many cuisine Ukrainian, Italian and also Japanese tastes. In this hotel coffee house is very nice cosines . So I recommend this hotel for the people that want feel soviet style. Note that all officiants speaks in Russian. And I like to say that English speaker is not major in this world. Please respect their culture. Many Japanese old man does not so, and then be troubled with.
