During my recent stay at Orka Boutique Hotel, I encountered numerous service failures that significantly detracted from my visit to Fethiye, a location I had limited time to explore. My scheduled check-in at 14:00 was delayed without justification, despite my early arrival at 13:30. The front desk was unprepared, and I was instructed to return at 15:00. Upon my return, I was further delayed as the room was still not ready, prompting an additional wait after intervention by my booking platform, Trip.com.

When I finally accessed the room at 15:30, the conditions were unsatisfactory: the bathroom floor was soaked, the kettle was broken, and the linens and desk surfaces were unclean. Despite reporting these issues, the hotel's response was inadequate. The manager offered only a re-cleaning of the room and disclaimed responsibility, attributing the mishaps to inexperienced staff rather than systemic issues within the hotel’s operations.

Frustrated by nearly a half-day's delay, I decided to switch hotels and sought a full refund, which the hotel manager regrettably declined. This decision disregarded the considerable inconvenience caused and reflected a troubling indifference to guest satisfaction.

After my departure, further attempts by Trip.com to obtain a refund from the hotel were unsuccessful. The manager's refusal to address the issues substantively not only compounded the initial grievances but also demonstrated a profound failure in customer service.

As a seasoned traveller who has visited numerous countries, I have rarely encountered such a dismissive attitude towards guest concerns. This experience at Orka Boutique Hotel stands out as the epitome of service failure, highlighting a significant need for managerial accountability and improved customer care. Prospective visitors should be wary of this establishment, as my experience indicates a severe disregard for guest convenience and satisfaction.

Moreover, the hotel is situated in a bustling urban area, both in front and behind, which greatly detracts from the peaceful, quiet environment typically desired for a holiday. Despite its ostensibly prime location, the constant noise significantly undermines the potential for a relaxing stay.

Additionally, the facilities at Orka Boutique Hotel leave much to be desired. The reception area is particularly inadequate, confined to a mere 10 square meters with a small window and no seating available. Guests are forced to stand while waiting to check in, which, coupled with the apathetic demeanour of the front desk staff, further diminishes the overall hospitality experience. This lack of basic comforts and poor customer service at the reception starkly contrasts with the expectations set by the hotel's promotional materials, highlighting a significant shortfall in both amenity provision and guest treatment.

Very bad hotel!

Recently stayed here for one week as a solo female. 
Have travelled to Fethiye and surrounding areas many times before but this was my first time in the area alone. 

I had the best week and the hotel was in the ideal location for getting about Fethiye on foot. 

Right on the harbour, within easy walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. 

The hotel staff are lovely and really helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. 

I had a double room overlooking the mountains and I loved people watching with a cup of coffee from the balcony. 

The shower was LOVELY and there was plenty of space in the room to unpack. The mini fridge was also great as it meant I could grab a few drinks or bottles of water and keep them cold in the room if I didn’t fancy venturing out. 

The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of fresh towels and robes, along with amenities in the bathroom which came in handy on my first night as I didn’t get a chance to pop to the shops and get toiletries. 

GloriaJeans coffee shop downstairs (direct access from the lobby) does a great cappuccino. 

The hotel was spotlessly clean and check-in was quick and easy. I received excellent value for money for my stay as even though it was “off-season” the weather was lovely for the majority of the week! 

I’ve only ever visited the area during May-September but seeing Fethiye during February was lovely as I got to see a whole different side of it and discover new places that I’d not been to before. 

As a solo female traveller I also felt completely safe. Most nights I was out enjoying coffee or a wine until 11/11.30pm and there were still plenty of families and couples out and about. I feel safer here than at home! 

Definitely recommend this hotel (and the whole area in general!) whether you’re travelling alone, visiting as a couple or with kids.

Excellent stay in my favourite place

Orka exceeded our expectations with the size of the room we stayed in. Very spacious and overall great space, we also had an extra toddler bed provided which was great because it meant we didn’t have to cram up in the one bed altogether. The amenities were also great and the view from the bedroom out to the port was beautiful to look out from. The location of the hotel is also good because from one end you can walk all the way up the main road where you can fine shops, restaurants, cafes etc.

Excellent and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. Great comfortable room wirh wonderful sea views.

+ staff - great. parking is small, we always parked, staff helped, gave the keys, the guys themselves put the car and watched to let out those who were blocked. It's clear. The place is perfect, not too noisy despite being the center. You can shop, you can walk down the streets and on the beach. You can sit in cafes on the beach, ride in a water taxi, etc. Everything by the side. For your money the numbers are the norm. All the wishes were fulfilled. Water, expenses, cleaning. - settled in room 18m instead of 25m. - he was tired, a hairdresser.

I'll stop by again.

Not bad but expensive for what you get. Not luxurious at all.

I checked out of this hotel yesterday and had left some personal belongings in the fridge. I called within hours of leaving the hotel to be told to phone the following morning. When I have called today they have told me that they have thrown my belongings in the bin!! I had arranged for someone to collect them for me. People forget stuff in hotels all of the time and I can not believe that this would be done. Would never stay at this hotel again based on that….. I am disgusted and disappointed that this is how they would behave
