Compared to Italian hotels, we say that the stars are a gift. Old structure and very lively bathrooms!! Smell of smoke in every room and cleanliness in the bathroom outside the canons. Very nice and available staff. Good location.

Different concept of hotel!

The first thing we noticed was the strong smell of tobacco in the corridors, the strong smell of tobacco, the strong smell in the walls. We asked for a room for non-smokers, but the only thing they could find for us was still a vacuum. The steady smell of tobacco. But we were very tired, so we decided not to look elsewhere. The room was clean, but not very comfortable, cool. And the bathroom was uncomfortably located, the shower was mounted in the wall and it was unremovable, it was uncomfortable to wash, the bathroom was narrow and the shower was a small one.

Place not for long stay

We recently stayed here for 2 nights. We were booked in by our travel company, so we had no choice. The minute you walk into reception, you are aware of the smell of stale cigarette smoke and the rooms are even worse. Not a place for non smokers.
The hotel is in a good central location. They serve a reasonable breakfast buffet on the top floor, which has good views over the city.
The staff are helpful and the wi fi was OK.

For non-smokers one to avoid!

Positive: - situation in the city centre - smiling, welcoming and well-meaning staff - clean rooms, sufficiently large and comfortable; adequate bedding - clean bathrooms (WC, bath with shower/shower, sink, mirror, dry hair) - excellent and very complete breakfasts - some English-speaking staff negative: - maintenance leaves to be desired (defective bathroom door knob, torn air grids,....) - 401: sewage smell in the bathroom - noisy environment (town centre): prefer small rooms giving back to the building (pair rooms)

adequate comfort

The hotel does not claim to be comfortable, but is conveniently located for travelers in a car. You can explore the surroundings, the fortress, the historical places about which the poet wrote. The hotel is clean, the rooms are simple, but after the mountain serpentine and the exaggerated drivers on the roads you are provided with peace. There is free Wi-Fi, delicious coffee and baking, friendly and, most importantly, non-intimidating staff. For lovers of antiquity, exotics is quite a decent place.

Good to see Erzurum.

The hotel itself is near the center, quite acceptable, although a little expensive. But there was free Wi-Fi and clean rooms. If you have to stay in this city, then the hotel Delaware is not the worst choice. The staff speaks English and German.

Hotel for three.

I stayed at Hotel Dilaver in early August and was happy enough with the place. It's looking a bit past it's best, but the rooms are a good size and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was an excellent buffet on the top floor, which enjoys far better views than the nearby citadel. 

The service was good and the WiFi OK, although a bit patchy in my room on the third floor. I thought it was a bit pricey, however, Erzurum in general seemed a bit more expensive than the rest of Eastern Anatolia. The asking price for a single room was 85TL, however, I negotiated down to 75TL.

All in all, nothing amazing but an average hotel in a good location for the key sights.

Run of the mill

We stayed one night in this 3-star hotel (a good two-star hotel in France). Admittedly, the décor is modest but comfort is very present. Very well located in the city centre where everything can be done on foot. impeccable and clean room. We used it as a transit stop when returning from the far east of the country following a treck. Clean bathroom. Several services available. Possibility of wifi in the lobby and in the rooms depending on the quality of the reception. Ideal for a transit stop.

It's perfect for a one-night stand.

Clean modern rooms. Easy to find. Good location, near tourist sites and the centre of the town. Copious breakfasts served on the top floor with nice view of the city. Decent WiFi in the rooms. Attentive staff.
