From the outside,it looked great. But then we went inside and there was a big difference. From the lack of hygiene, the broken heater İN DECEMBER and the frozen restaurant. At least, they offered us diner and coffee for free as an apology, which is appreciated but doesn't compensate for all the problems.

Disappointed

Since we had already contacted the hotel via WhatsApp, all rooms of the Klimaan Hotel were already informed of the arrival of air-conditioned carpets and large balconies. At the reception we received the room key 111 - when we showed the price agreement, we received the room 406. The hotel description states as follows: The Simsek Hotel has a fitness centre and elegantly designed rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. All rooms of the Klimaan Hotel also have air conditioning floor and large balconies. At the reception desk, we received the room key 111 - when we showed the price agreement, we received the room 406.

Room 406 on Aug. 10, 2021 was the second-worst at nearly 100 overnight stays he last 5 years

We arrived at Şimşek Hotel to sleep for a night. We've paid 80 euros (!) for 1 night with 5 people, which equals around 800-850 tl. For a 3 star hotel it felt like the first big scam we have encountered. It's strange for them to ask for euros instead of tl anyways. 

The rooms were okay, but again, way too much for the price. The breakfast was edible but my advice is to visit a restaurant (ayçiçeği for instance). 

To be honest try to search for another hotel if you're from a foreign country or just continue the journey to Istanbul.

Definitely not the best

The hotel is close to the university and the hospital. There are many cafes nearby. The rooms are inexpensive, but the prices are too high. The air conditioning can barely handle the heating of the room. The bedding with holes, the lights fall off, the Wi-Fi is very weak.

A big number, but a lot of small flaws.

I had a family room. I was 2 adults and a child. Clean room. What we really liked was the breakfast took into backyard. Garden was beautiful, green, quiet and funny (3 beautiful kittens playing there). I had breakfast and some donuts prepared on the spot, very good. It is an excellent hotel for transit if you want to rest. Although we had the room on the main street, we could sleep peacefully. It is all too easy to find, right across the street from Trakia University, the exit of Edirne. Staff very helpful. Internet connection better than in other hotels. The hotel has an elevator.

A very good hotel

I thank the staff of the Simsek Hotel for their hospitality, their smile and their service. Secure hotel, comfortable bed, clean room, breakfast in a nice resting garden. Very good cuisine with fresh produce. I recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Edirne where you feel good. Very good quality price ratio.

Very good staff.

I had a very pleasant week in this hotel, opposite Trakya University. It's a newish building, which is spacious and warm.  The staff were all very friendly and spoke some English.  Breakfast is ample and there is also a decent restaurant and cafe with friendly service if you don't feel like schlepping into town.  If you are visiting Edirne as a tourist it's a little far from the town centre but if you're visiting the university or merely passing through on the way to or from Greece and Bulgaria then this is highly recommended.

Good hotel, excellent staff

we stayed there for one night. staff was very helpful and very friendly. hotel near the otogar wich is interurban bus station. front of hotel there is a bus station from there you can go to the central of city . it takes like 10 min. in the city you can visit sellimiye mosque , meric lake , ali pasa bazaar and museusm. also hotel has a amazing garden at there you can have a rest. breakfast is ok , room are clean and works everything.

Friendly staff , nice garden and location 

I've been coming to the 3-star hotel SIMSEK in Edirne for 5 years. Unfortunately, I've noticed that the hotel's infrastructure suffers more and more from year to year and is not being maintained. Mold on the durable joints of the sanitary objects is a well-known problem in Turkey, but the flow is loose, the door sleeves are broken or the balcony can't be worn, there are other examples where the wrong space is being saved. The mattresses are located. The rooms themselves are quite spaciously cleaned and have been cleaned up within hours.

Still the best hotel in the area with a moderate overall atmosphere

Uncomfortable beds, very small beds. Faraway to city centre. Stay here if you have little chance
