Oh dear looked so promising ! Went for a steak set menu but one steak was very chewy and had already been exchanged as over cooked . Dessert of the day appeared to be fruit or icecream , not what we were expecting and you couldn’t have got a smaller dish if you had tried ! The free liquor at the end was fizzy ... so that’s some sort of apple juice then!! Will not be coming here again !!! Soo disappointing !

The hotel is in the center of gumbet , the rooms are gd and clean but no wi fi internet , only at the pool and restaurant  area , wich is bad coz on the internet they said free internet everywherecon the hotel , and the beach is great

Sami hotel

This hotel is so far behind the rest of them in the area most of the guests turn up late at night, three of us in our party and was offered a room which was located out of the hotel and up 56 steps when inside the room there was one bed for three of us.
Asked to see the manager he was a sleep in his bed was the reply " good for him I thought" 
meals in this hotel are less than basic and whilst there 7 days ate once on the first day, staff and manager did not want to know about the food situation, well why would they, they have your money. entertainment was a joke a few guys got together and threw a few things up in the air and called themselves jugglers.

One thing if you have walking issues this may not be the hotel for you, no lifts and ramps that lead to flights of stairs 
if you can handle the hassling on a 24-7 basis then you will be ok but after a while it gets too you.
Eat out Tip Wendy bay on the beach a full English 3.99 TL and it dose lovely meals in the evening well worth a visit.

Fun Time Tip go see a show called dream Girls it’s a drag show but funny as hell.

One of the best hotels in Gumbet. Have stayed in The Sami Plaza 8 times. Rooms are spacious & cleaned every day. Restaurant serves lovely food. Swimming pool cleaned regularly. Only a few minutes from the beach.

Excellent Hotel

10 of us went out to Sami Plaza to celebrate our birthdays.  We had a fantastic week, the temperature was just right and we spent many an hour on the beach. Our hotel room was very spacious and comfortable, we overlooked the pool with free air con. The pool area is lovely, lots of sunbeds and a large swimming pool so you can have a good swim or simply relax in the hammocks or huge cussions. The food was varied and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely time to visit and excellent value for money.

Fantasic week in October 2012

Just spent a lovely 2 weeks in the Sami Plaza. The staff were extremly pleasant and very helpful, especially Oktay & the young girl on reception (apologies, but I did not get her name). The room we had for 2 people was very spacious, even having an additional, seperate bedroom and was cleaned thourghly on a daily basis. We also had a massive balcony, which got the sun from sunrise to sunset. An unexpected bonus was the free aircon, which saved a lot of money. Around the clean poolside are there were more than pleanty of sunbeds, kingsize cushions & about 5 hammocks under the shade of the trees to take refuge from the sun. The food was absolutely beautiful & pleantiful at every mealtime. Breakfast consisted of a range of cereals, meats & cheeses, various breads, yoghurt, jams & honey along with freshly made omelettes & crepes to order. Evening meal had soup, 40 - 50 different mezes every night, hot veg, meat, casseroles etc [along with a good selection of cakes - if you were quick enough, as some guests took more than their share!]. The food was so good we paid regular compliments to the chef. The hotel is idealy situated next to all the bars, restaurants & beach within the resort. Would definately recommend this hotel & will be back in 2013.

Lovely Hotel

The rooms are quiet and spacious with air conditioning and with a huge terrace overlooking the pool surrounded by palm trees while I saw the ground floors that have the garden. The restaurant is half-buffet guesthouse while the drinks are ordered and are extra but the price is great.

It is advantageous

This hotel is only good for its location!for 11 days the laundry has not been changed, neither bed nor bathroom has been cleaned and the quality of the food is poor, food is repeatable and re-purposed!The hotel is located on the Sami beach.For excursions we contacted the travel agency kls voyages, serious and non-invasive staff with excellent prices!The most beautiful beach we found is muddy, accessible with bodrum dolmus, 2 bunk beds+ umbrella 13 euro in 2!

Never again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sami Plaza in Gumbet from 25 June to 2 July 2012, we both booked via travelrepublic and the price for a double room in half board was 0.5 E per person. Upon our arrival at the hotel we were assigned a double in a simple wooden prefabricated area next to the swimming pool, telling us that if we didn't like it we would be assigned another one, I must say the room was not ugly but very dark so we asked to see the other fare available; finally we stayed in a huge double room (station 4 bathroom, 2 bathroom, balcony, balcony, and small air conditioner) in the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, they assigned us a double in a simple French prefabricated area and told us that if we didn't like it we would be assigned another one directly, I have to say that if we didn't like it, we would have a very convenient entry, but the room was not ugly ugly so we asked to see the other fare available; finally we stayed in a very large double room at the hotel. It's a great hotel.

I had my concerns about Turkey, but I was very positively surprised. The hotel was right on the party street, so the rooms were also sealed up until 2 o'clock at night, but the insulation of the windows was good enough for me to sleep. The rooms had everything you need and were nicely decorated. Everything was in good condition. While there were a few small mold stains around the bathroom, but you didn't see it at first glance. The bed was very comfortable.
