Alacati

A charming place with lovely staff. The breakfast is the best I've ever had, and the largest. It's a place that needs to be experienced, with it's charm and decor. 
You will not regret booking a stay at Sudan, I've will at one point go back to stay there again.

The best breakfast I've had.

The hotel is an old town house, not many rooms. I stayed in a 3 bedroom flat in the old house. Location was simply perfect, the decoration was so lovely and so tasteful. The breakfast is one of the main assets Su'dan. You will have a really good 'alacati style' breakfast in a lovely garden.

Lovely boutique hotel in Alacati

I have recently visited Alacati with my friends for six days of holiday. We based our hotel choice on very good reviews that we read about the Sudan Palas. Indeed the first impression of the place was positive - beautiful garden, spacious bedroom, clean shower room, all kept in basic, but charming style (however pictures slightly beautifying the reality).
The hotel is placed 5 km from the nearest beach, what is really not a problem as there is a regular minibus that may take you there in few minutes. 
Our room was cleaned daily, we were provided with fresh towels every day, and every morning we were served  breakfast in the garden.
However the customer service itself was quite disappointing - except a general greeting when we have arrived, and polite manner of serving the breakfast in the morning, we did not feel much taken care of. I found it a bit weird, especially that it was the end of the season, and except our little group, there was not many other guests staying over the week. I wouldn't be really bothered that much by all this but...
At the end of our stay, and to our surprise, we were presented with the bill for the 'extras' that we had with our daily breakfast (e.g. orange juice, scrambled eggs were considered 'extras'). Strange, as we were never told what the 'extras' actually are, how much do they cost (there was no menu with the prices and meal options on the dining tables, or in the guest rooms), and that they are not included in basic breakfast that was covered by the room price. On top of that the prices (that we have seen for the first time) were as high as the dinner meal in the regular restaurant in town (more of the price range of the lamb steak than scrambled eggs).
Recently there was a similar feedback left by other guests who mentioned exactly the same issue.
To conclude - nice place, but there is a stiff competition from many gorgeous hotels in Alacati, which I'm sure serve amazing breakfasts as well...and are also able to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for its customers, without any unexpected surprises spoiling their stay.

Not that nice for the price...

Welcoming, charming and the best breakfast you'll find. I highly recommend you book a room here for a stay. It's full of charm and personality, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. You live close to the city center, but not in the middle of all the traffic and noise. For a real feel of Alacati, turkish hospitality and a genuine and unique feel, stay here.

Charming

This was a lovely guesthouse in the heart of Alacati. Great location and the rooms were very clean and well kept. It should be noted that this is a guest house and not really a typical hotel. Theres not really a front desk or lobby or anything like that if you are used to those types of facilities. If you travel Europe a lot, then you will be used to this type of setup. We had our own large room with private entrance off the street just a few steps from the main area of restaurants and bars which was great. Leila was very accommodating and our stay was very enjoybale. The breakfast every morning was AMAZING

Great boutique guesthouse in prime Alacati spot

A truly beautiful and charming place to stay in Alacati. Everything about this guesthouse was great. The rooms were clean and decorated beautifully, friendly staff, great location and the garden, where we were served breakfast was magical. 

Leyla the hostess went above and beyond. She was lovely and made you feel right at home, she organised our travel to and from the airport and recommended places to visit. We even had a private dinner in the garden. 

A place we will always remember and will be recommending to all our friends!

Amazing place to stay

I traveled to Sudan Palas with a group of friends. We stayed for three nights and were seduced by the charming building (an old Greek house) and the beautiful decorations. However the garden, which is a Mediterranean fantasy with fig and citrus trees stole the show, as did the absolutely incredible breakfast. 

I would recommend Sudan Palas to anyone looking for a charming bed and breakfast in Alacati.

Additionally, Leyla Tabrizi is a fantastic hostess. She knows the region very well and can recommend the best restaurants, sights and beaches. She will also cook private dinners in the garden for large groups!

An enchanting place to stay in Alacati

This cozy, charming and tasteful house made our stay in Alacati a lot more joyful than expected! Our host Leyla was always around to make sure that we have everything we need. Regardless of your budget, there are plenty of nice stores and restaurants to find good food.

perfect place to stay in Alacati!

It's a nice little hotel in Alacati. It's a lovely room and very nice contact with the landlord. We were in Alacati at the end of March and enjoyed our vacation despite some rainy days.

In spite of the off-season, it's definitely worth a trip.

We had a fixed booking, arrived at night, looked for a long time because there were no signs at all hotels, drove past five times, and when we finally identified and with the help of locals who had also verified, it turns out that it was closed.
