It's awesome people go here with me and my family it's awesome place nice view and all thing very good it will give me so nice job her people ask me to go inside have good and nice view very good location 

Good location. Super helpful staff. Comfortable room with nice bed, AC, TV, in-room swork desk and private toilet and bath. Breakfast was good! Budget hotel good for business trvellerers, it was the perfect choice. There is a small supermarket a few blocks away from the hotel.

Good location. Away from the noise of the city. Super helpful staff. Comfortable room with nice bed, AC, TV, in-room safe, fridge, work desk and private toilet and bath. Room comes with free airport transfers. Breakfast was good! The only setback was the price of $50 per night but for Dili, it was the perfect choice.

In a great part of the city. Clean except for a few cobwebs in the bathroom. Comfy beds and great aircon. Continental breakfast and airport transfers included. Very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't realise the 'do not disturb/make up my room' sign was electronic on the door bell until the second last day so can't rate that (oops). We were towards the back and had virtually no city sounds. The fridge wasn't very cold though. Most taxi drivers/mikrolet drivers know where it is.

It is a very good mid-range hotel within walking distance of the Government Palace, the port (ferries to Oecussi and the Atauro Island) and the Cathedral but very far from the Becora bus terminal (busses to Baucau and Lospalos). There is a small supermarket a few blocks away from the hotel. The rooms are reasonably spacious and very clean.

A good choice

We had a pleasant surprise as our room was upgraded to a suite from a single room. The staff were friendly especially Domingas in housekeeping and Lucia from the dining room. Kudos to all the helpful staff.

Friendly Staff

Its quite run down with doors, aircon and toilets in bad conditions. The towel has a very strong detergent smell as well. The staff are friendly though. We even spotted a few cockroaches around. This hotel would need some upgrades and refurbishments. 

Run down hotel 

Very out of the way, no meals nearby - restaurant offered chicken nuggets, everything else out.  Dinner was lettuce and one small tomato.    Place very tired with peeling wallpaper, peeling door, bathroom grimy.   Over-priced.   Staff pleasant but just not much to work with.

Overpriced, tired

D'city is a "modern" ish hotel in Dili. We stayed 2 nights in September 2018. The hotel is right on a busy road, but the rooms are set back behind a courtyard so you don't get noise. Airport transfers are provided foc. Rooms are ok (air con not so efficient) but a little expensive at over US$50 per night. We had a problem with the hot water our first night. It was fixed the second night. Breakfast is included, and starts at 7am. Best to get there early to avoid it all being consumed and for some of the items to have gone cold (eg eggs/coffee).
Please note that even if you secure your booking via Agoda or another online hotel site and secure it with your credit card you may be required to settle your account locally...D'city Hotel ONLY ACCEPTS VISA. If you present a Mastercard as I did, you will have a problem. You will be taken to an ATM and asked to withdraw cash. All very unsatisfactory. I spoke to the hotel manager, Maria Lopez about it and she basically couldn't care less. 
The Discovery Inn across town has a great Deck Bar & an amazing restaurant. I would recommend staying there instead.
