Be careful, the hotel does not correspond to the description, photographs and reviews. The first problem is mosquitoes. They are everywhere. In the house, on the sidewalks, by the pool. That's just terrible. The second problem is that everything is very old. The third is food. The breakfast restaurant does not have air conditioning. The dinner restaurant is located on a busy street and is always crowded. The fourth problem is the beaches. In the picture of the hotel you see an empty Karon beach. In fact, there are a lot of people on it. I really love Thailand and Phuket. But this hotel was the worst thing that happened to me here. On some booking systems the hotel is in the 5 star category. Please don't deceive people. This is absurd. I'm very surprised by the positive feedback from other people. Perhaps they haven't been to really good hotels.

My worst experience in Thailand

Really nice resort complex. Beautiful, if not modern, room. Great buffet breakfast. Beautiful tropical vegetation. However pool too deep for my short wife to enjoy so we couldn't use it. Loads of people smoking marijuana round the pool and loads of non hotel guests walking off the beach to use the pool. Zero nightlife or socialising with other guests.

Some good and some bad.

A beautiful, intimate resort, surrounded by greenery and with direct access to the southern end of Karon beach. The staff is really friendly and efficient, their motto is "feel at home". The food is exquisite, the pool is a gem, the price/ quality ratio is great. Absolutely recommended.

Awesome place to relax yourself

What a fantastic hotel. The hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings conveniently situated between Kata and Karon, it is  really an idyllic hotel for holidays or special occasions.  The breakfast has a good variety of options. Both restaurants have a good quality menu for lunch/dinner with lots to choose from, the only difference is that On The Rocks restaurant has fantastic views of the beach and sea.  
Rooms are in villas, which makes for a peaceful stay with the decor and amenities being to a high spec.
Staff are very accommodating and friendly.  We couldn't have asked for more, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time .

Blissful hotel

We recently visited from the U.K. for a week, and were delighted to see that they continue to deliver high quality and personable service, wonderful accommodation and a superb dining experience at their 3 restaurants
The beautiful grounds are set out as a lush tropical jungle, and offer a relaxed and peaceful haven from the busy world outside 
We really couldn’t speak highly enough of the staff and management who made our stay so good - this is a very special hotel, to visit time and again

Wonderful Marina Phuket Resort

It's a great hotel! back in 2013 we wanted to stay at this hotel, but it was renovated! and then after all these years the wish came true for our son. The houses in the hotel are wonderful, but the cosmetics are good, having a bathroom is always a huge plus, in the house you'll have a brand bag for the beach and the pool, the pool is very small, private, the beds are few, but if you really need it, the staff will deliver them for you, traditional Thai breakfasts, but you just won't be hungry. We had dinner included and it was great. Thanks for having a dinner in your restaurant with red sticks, it's the best way to get acquainted with Thai food. Please don't include dinner in the season, they're very nice.

It's amazing.

The hotel was chosen by chance and they didn't miss it. It's in a good location and the sea and the shops are all nearby. The staff is great, they clean as well as possible. Since there are only a few plants around, there are ants and different insects. We had a little lizard in the room. Food: great dinners, drinks and desserts for an extra fee. Breakfast is like this: eggs, rice, pasta, in 10 days there was not once a cashew to feed a baby, it's the same thing.... On the beach the beds are paid.

Hotel in the jungle

This is the last day of a 9 night stay for us here at the Marina Phuket Resort and we have had an amazing experience. I can honestly say that it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are helpful, friendly and so polite and respectful (Thai people generally seem to be ❤️). Our room and the hotel grounds are kept lovely. I especially love all of the exotic and tropical plants everywhere in the hotel. Our room is cleaned well every day with fresh bottles of water (4 of them), fresh beach towels and towels and all things we have used are replenished (tea bags,bath crystals, bath gel etc). It feels more like a serviced apartment which is perfect for us as we like our own space. You do obviously have the support of the hotel reception if you need it and the one time we approached them they were so helpful. On arrival we were greeted by a member of hotel staff who sat us down with a welcome drink and explained everything about the hotel in a calm and easy to take in way - sometimes I feel so tired from travel I can't take it all in but I did this time. She even walked us to our room and explained everything - so helpful. I have had a tummy bug since arriving from Bangkok and Elephant Hills so I have spent more time in the room than I normally would and the sea view, beach view and all the lovely greenery visible from our balcony has made it a pleasurable experience. Complementary dinner or lunch each day at the hotel restaurant Red Chopstix but again because of my bug I wasn't able to benefit from this as not been eating much. We stayed in 203 and can see the sea from the lovely balcony and the beach through the exotic planting. Again, the nicest and most comfortable room I have ever had.

Absolute paradise!

I want to warn the tourists about cheating in the minibar. When we entered the room they showed us a full minibar, after a few days we used it, but only once. The drinks we drank, we didn't put back. 04.11.23 at 21.00 we close the number bills, we pay everything, including the minibar. 05.11.23 early in the morning we leave, we show zero balance checks and here we are surprised. Cheating with the minibar

The first time in Thailand, on Phuket II, the first time walking around the beach of Karon, the bungalows were struck by the greenery on the rocky shore. Choosing the hotel, they were aiming for Marina. They didn't understand. The hotel is drowning in the greenery of the botanical garden, winding paths, picturesque bridges, individual bungalows and, most importantly, there is no feeling of boredom, like the room is full, but you are like one.
