The resort is at a very nice and relaxed beach and the views from the rooms and the restaurant are beautiful. The food was amazing and our room was very clean.
If you are looking for something a little remote and chill Plaas is perfect.
Perhaps not suited for elderly people because the stairs to the resort could be too challenging.

Relaxed and beautiful resort

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and we've traveled super well. The climb up to the hotel is really adventurous. First you go over the rocks, then you get to the destination with many stairs. (Reception) The staff were very friendly and the rooms are super nice. The view is right over the sea and is breathtakingly beautiful. Here you can rest and relax. You can only hear the forest and the forest people. All in all, the food in the hotel's own restaurant was also super tasty and cheap considering that they have to carry the food all the way to the hotel. The only thing we liked about the booking was that there was no air conditioning, but only two fans. But that also worked 😁

It's a really nice hotel to relax and relax in, but it's worth the adventure, unfortunately, no air conditioning.

If I had known about Plaa before I booked my stay I would have stayed here. 
This is a truely unique gem, and I do hope it is still here in its original thai style form when I return to KPN.
Had lunch here today. Pad Thai and Sam Tom, and both dishes were delicious and both better and cheaper than I have had on the west coast. 
Tranquility, friendly staff and the excellent view completed my visit at Haad Than Sadet.

Lunch with a view

Hello Hdllo, here's another brief review of my Thailand tour this year through Koh Phangan. I was here once five years ago, now the roads are done and you get here without any problems. I can only recommend the resort, restaurant, beach, accommodation and most of all the staff. From the terrace you have a great view. This is a really great place to relax and relax. The food that is prepared here is always delicious and fresh from the hammer. I can only recommend everyone to spend a few days here once. See you soon.

Another Visit

The view from the restaurant to the unique bay is stunning. The dining of the restaurant is very good - a slightly elevated price level to affordable alternatives is noticeable. The room (Rocky Modern) was able to easily compete with substantially more expensive alternatives. A nice bathroom and a beautiful terrace with hanging mats as well as the clean bedroom convinced us, especially given the price. Unfortunately, the lack of friendliness of the restaurant - as if we didn't want to come - made it difficult for us to visit the potentially very difficult experience. We felt that it would cost us much more if the owner and staff were to drive to the three most expensive streets than the men who had been there, so that they could get around the area for the convenience of the dining room.

Amazing private bungalow and the restaurant has a great view on the beach.
The privé is als very good. Almost nothing for what you get.

The only bad thing were al the stairs when you arrive. But hey.. the view is amazing

Positive points: The view The restaurant A somewhat remote beach is available 10 minutes from the hotel (fine sand and clear water) Negative points: Employees not very friendly Plenty of insect (a 10 cm spider that comes out of the shower while washing) No pressure in the shower or hot water Bungalow that leaks when it rains True climbing to bungalows Unknown taxi address (employees enjoy being the only ones in the vicinity to rent bad scooters) Wifi available at the restaurant but of very poor quality only We paid for ocean views and we saw on a part of the ocean and on the roof

One of the most beautiful views of koh phangan but with many disadvantages

My partner and I recently visited the island and were over the moon to have found this little gem! Our lovely, wooden bungalow looked straight out to sea which was the perfect way to wake up. The food here was amazing, home cooked and authentic Thai food but there are a wide range of options if you are looking for more western dishes. The staff are so attentive and Jake was always happy, helpful and totally on the ball, nothing was too much trouble. The views were breathtaking and definitely an escape from the chaos of other parts of the island. The beach was never too busy. Limited choice of where to eat on the beach but with the food being so tasty it wasn’t ever a problem. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. The bungalows are located up a number of steps so not advisable if you struggle with uphill climbs. Very reasonably priced as well! We did have a number of little and large insect visitors, plus a few tokay geckos, but that did not pose a problem for us! I can’t not wait to return! Loved every minute!

A little bit of paradise

On the east coast of Koh Phangnan between the jungle and the sea lies a beautiful crescent shaped beach overlooked by Plaa's Thansadet bungalows. The view is just amazing. Surrounded by the sounds of the tropics - cicadas, geckos and drongos - its difficult to believe you are not in paradise.
This is not for everyone however. No parties here and lots of steps to the beach. Not for the mobility-challenged! Although we in our early 60's had no problems. 
We had a spacious air conditioned room with large verandah overlooking the sea with two hammocks. Very comfortable bed with mossie net (not really required) and well appointed wash room with shower and plenty of hot water.
The restaurant food was just great and the few staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Relaxing hideaway

I've returned to Plaa's specifically for the wonderful food, Plaa's welcoming smile and most of all, the spectacular views from the comfortable bungalows. Not quite resort standard, but a bargain for the price and location, set high on the northern point overlooking Than Sadet beach. It's easy to spend hours on your balcony, swinging in the hammocks, and be surprised by the setting sun. A perfect Koh Phangan experience.
