Lovely place to stay and relax, especially if you need to be close to town and need to run a few errands, meet people, plan stuff... 

Place is so close to Rock City Mall where you can go and spend, time, money, get your things in an exciting way.

You can also reach to some relaxing joints for food and drinks and get a dose of your weekly entertainment at the Mall.

Duty with a flair for relaxation and networking

One of the worst hotel in mwanza poor service in general they need to have new management to improve their services , I asked to see the restaurant manager he said he don’t have time to meet me and later one of the staff come to meet me he never apologized for what happened ….  I don’t advise anyone to visit a place 

Pool service zero star

The hotel needs some serious maintenance check. I arrived with my colleagues. One room had so much cigarette smell coming from the AC. the second room hadn't had hot water.. we were then moved to another floor were the electricity kept going off and they claimed their was a problem with one of the electricity ports. we later learnt that the hotel didn't have a manage and the young lady Lina, did try her best to move us into a working room. In the morning the mosque was a bit too loud, as it felt like they were right outside my window, and the neighbors were playing loud music at 6am. 
We conveyed the information to Lina before we moved locations the next day. She has high potential of making the hotel work and up to standard if given the correct team.

SO SO

I went to the Kingdom gym this morning. A friend told me about the special price they offer only in the morning hours, 5000TSh.
However the guy at the reception tried to trick us into paying 10000. This could have been a misunderstanding but when I bought water he tried it again. In the end I payed 3000TSh for a bottle of water because he ignored me when I asked him the third time for change. 
But I also have to mention that the female personal trainer there was really capable and nice!
The training devices are okay.

Kingdom Gym

If you have to be at the airport early, their sis a good place to spend a night. They have a beautiful bar and the food is decent. For Mwanza this is actually a very good hotel, the internet is basic. Friendly staff.

Is alright

Pros: Central location. Mozzie screens on the windows. Air conditioning, good hot water.

Cons: 
* Very poor service one night waited 10 hours for a towel they ended up delivery one at 0530 in the morning, this was not a language problem my husband is Tanzanian no excuse. next day no towels at all, I also asked for a batteries for the tv remote in the morning. Came back at 1500 no towels no batteries. Went down to reception and refused to leave without towels or batteries, the towels still look 45 minutes and were wet when I go them, ask for more towels dry ones and found they were all damp. Useless housekeeping. Reception just says yes to things to get you to go away, knowing they are have not intent to do what you ask.

* Breakfast pretty average for western food but good if you like local. i.e, my husband liked but I didn't.

* Level 6 as no wifi booster very frustrating if you are on level 6 you need to go to reception or the bar to use wifi. If you get 6 ask for another floor.

*No nets, but there screens and they do spray.

*Also got stuck in the lift twice, little scary, ask for a lower floor as often the lift is not working.

*Hands down my favourite part of this stay being woken at 5am and then 0530 for the call to prayer. A little heads up would have been nice nearly fell out of bed the first morning as I was not expecting it, it felt like the speaker was in the hallway of the hotel very loud.

Pretty Average

I arrived in Mwanza at night.  The light from houses on the hill located just opposite the hotel made the environment enchanting.    The staffs were friendly and willing to make us comfortable.  The elevator made access to the rooms in first, second and third floor easier and faster.  The rooms were clean and comfortable.  The meals were also good.  Breakfast...delicious.  I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Amazing

I loved  their  grilled chicken rice and they have a well stocked bar  but some waiters do not understand English. It's better if you understand some kiswahili.
