I visited the Panorama Safari Camp during a round trip with my cusin who is a zoologist and my brother. We were not typical tourist as we had local knowledge and because my zoologist cusin helps the local wildlife conservation teams and authorities to save black rhynos. So he has been here several times in the last 20 years. We stayed at different places like ranger hq in Mkomazi national park or at Under the Shade safari lodge(a wonder), but this budget camp with its iglues is in the bottom of my heart. The lication is just perfect. The iglues are great to sleep in and hospitality is just siply amazing. Good price for the whole package. I can only recommend it.

El Panorama is a bit of an atypical campsite, because your neighbors besides humans, are animals.Let's start with the rooms: you can choose the classic space where you store your tent, or small bungalows that have one or two beds. They are small structures made in the traditional style, small but enough to stay overnight (little more, since it is difficult to move if you go with a suitcase/backpack).The bed is hard, I won't deny it, because the mattress is very thin, and you sleep on cement.Another point, you'll need a bag because they don't provide shelves (if you sleep on the bed).The bathrooms are common, of course there is no bathroom.They have a hot water bar (a mattress, it doesn't always work, that's what we do) Respect the common ones: where you can enjoy a great dining room, where you can still enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding area.

Arrived late in the evening by public transport. Warm wellcome. Small but cosy igloos, tents are alternative. 
Great breakfast, good dinner, small shop, well stocked bar.
Evening show. 
Safaris tailor made, great value for price.
Fantastic staff, Paolo and tram have the feeling for your needs according to your budget 

Great value with superbe safaris

Igloo's were suffocating with cramped place and once doors are closed. Food was good. African music during dinner time was smoothing. The Panoramic view of the Manyara Lake from the Hill Top should not be missed.

Nice viewpoint over Manyara Lake in the top of the hill; guys prepare a Nice breakfast at sunrise time on the viewpoint that was an awesome experience; listening the birds singing. Comfortable igloos!!! Moji Moto at the shower!! Clean room and bathrooms! ...Good service!!!

I absolutely love this place! Great food, very clean bathrooms/shower (that's very rare in Tanzania) and the most important people who work there (specially manager Paulo) always make sure that you have a great time! Almost forgot about stunning view on lake Manyara!!! Thank you for everything, we will come back for sure 🙏!

Amazing place

Nice campsite with a good view of the lake, accommodation in small hobby houses, covered vault tents or camping, nice restaurant with free wifi and delicious food, friendly staff and affordable, the only criticism... cold showers... but only on the edge in warm weather.

Nice camp, cheap and in good condition

It seemed to me a picturesque and charming place with a spectacular view of Lake Manyara.The only drawback is that the igloos do not have a private bathroom, which can be a drawback for a European with a loose belly during the trip.I recommend you carry a flashlight as at night the light generator didn't work and we had to use it.I would certainly repeat the experience.

Basic but functional (electricity) and clean huts. Friendly staff, well stocked bar with affordable alcohol (2.5$ per beer), night time entertainment. Well located next to lake Manyara Park. Highly recommend for budget traveler.

excellent value

Great starting point to safaris  (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara). Good accommodation in bungalows, clear bathroom, tasty food and very kind staff.
And you have an amazing view of lake Manyara.
It has an Hungarian owner,  so this place is organized better than an average African place.
