Liked · The bed was very comfortable. The room is a good size and very clean, with the basic amenities you'd expect. The location was convenient for my trip, which is why I booked it. A nice Italian restaurant is also part of the hotel.

Disliked · Couldn't adjust the heating and the room was quite warm. I tried opening the windows, but as the room is on the ground floor, with direct access to a terrace, there were other guests smoking just outside, and it smelled. I have stayed in Luzern in other hotels before, where I was offered a travel pass for the public transport of the city zone, which was not the case here. The hotel is next to a church bell tower, which rings every 15min between 7am and 10pm.

A basic stay a short distance from Luzern

I was there between 03 and 05 August and it was the worst experience with "hotels" that I already had. 

As I decided to travel to late, I could not find another place in Switzerland to stay, with normal prices I mean, then I saw this option on internet. 

So, my experience: I we arrived, the man on the reception was a little bit rude, just gave the keys and did not tell us anything more... Just asked if we would like to pay more 14,00 euros p day to have a beakfast (OF COURSE NOT... In front of the place they have a VERY GOOD bakery which its possible to have a decent breakfast for 10,00 euros... with NICE people). 

The room was very tiny (ok for the price), but not properly cleaned and TOO HOT.. they don´t have at least a ventilator in the summer (more than 30 degrees). 

The another guests were also problematic. A couple of them were talking VERY LOUD  at 01:00 AM in front of my room. I had to ask them to be quiet. 

And finally, to complete the nightmare, the room was FULL OF SPIDERS... (I made photos), which shows that they don´t clean this properly...

Of course i will NEVER come back to this place. 

Positive points ??? The price and the location. It´s really easy to reach Luzern. 

I recommend it if you don´t mind to stay in dirty and hot places, if you are young and come to the hotel JUST to sleep (or to try it).

A Nightmare !

This was our second stop en route to interlakken. The hotel was clean and tidy and we had a room at the rear of the property with all the usual amenities. The decor was a little outdated but was fine. The owner couldnt do enough for us and even paid for our first drink upon arrival. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was 15chf each and was the traditional fayre. Overall we enjoyed our 1 night here and would use it again for an overnight stop. The owner and staff were very helpfull.

Swiss bike trip

This is not a hotel, it would be called an overpriced boarding house.The room is probably worth 30 euros.But everything was clean and the beds were good.The hotel is centrally located in Meggen and also by the lake.

Price performance, awful!!!!

For one night, it's fine. We couldn't imagine longer. The breakfast was very good, the pizza is very delicious. The breakfast is very modest for the price. The owner is working very hard, so you can still look at it as good.

One night.

The rooms aren't so modern. If you only need the room to sleep, I think it's enough. You shouldn't expect too much. They're clean and tidy. The food, on the other hand, is great. It's just for recommendation. They make me the best white wines I've ever had. The typical Italian dishes are great. They taste great. You can sit in dresses in the summer too. I highly recommend them for a good dinner.

Super food.

We have booked this Hotel on the Internet,it had some decent critics. Well,the rooms are very outdated,very small,there is church in the backyard which rings the bells every 30 minutes. The room however is clean,but it is hard for two people to move around.The room price for that kind of room to high.For this money you can do better around here. The restaurant is Italian and the food was very good,the staff was friendly.would I come back?, probably not.

Hotel Schloessli,Meggen

We were only in the locksmith's room for one night. The room was simply furnished and very clean. We were able to check in early in the morning because there was just one room available. We really appreciated this service. The staff were not well-informed about our arrival. They first had to check if there was really a room reserved for us. This was not exactly the most friendly way of greeting. In the morning the cleaner woke us up. She said that our room was empty. She kept pressing the door so often and trying to turn the key until we were noticed loudly. The staff was not all very professional and had some difficulty in speaking German. Breakfast with cheese, meat, Joghza, Joghza, etc. For some people, it was easy to relax with the room, but it was easy to relax with the room.
