Too expensive for such a break-in room! No emergency plans and signs for escape routes in case of fire - and that in an old wooden house, extremely small, narrow rooms, nightstand but no socket, broken, old room door - absolutely no sound insulation, no dress hooks, no foam, old plastic shower curtain, staircase stin, and it's clumsy around the self-catering kitchen we made a big arch: totally unhygienic. On complaint mail we haven't gotten any feedback so far. We'll never put a foot in the center of the house again!

Fingers away from this place!!!

I'm definitely used to something different for 300 in a double room a night. Dirty room, an elevator that doesn't work, a floor toilet that doesn't deserve the name! I think every prisoner in Switzerland has a prettier cell! I've never seen anything so rough and unappetizing. All in all, a freakishness. Hold on to such BUCKERS! We've booked 2 nights but will leave after one. Absolutely no go!

Absolutely NO GO

In addition to our double room, we had booked a parking space for 20th. But when we arrived there was no parking space and we had to squeeze our car next to a van. Then we wanted to go into the room, the self-made check-in worked well, only the key didn't match our room... we could reach someone by phone, even at the emergency number given.

Not recommended

Youth hostel located 5min walking distance from Davos main street. Parking available on site but snowy road to access. Large building with common rooms and ski area in common. Proper and clean rooms although they would deserve a good renovation. Kitchen, drinks and breakfast available. About CHF 100 for 4 for one night. Unbreakable for Davos.

Quality report price unbeatable for one night

During the World Forum in Davos it is difficult to find a room. We were invited to participate at the last minute and we couldn't miss this opportunity. We had to find a room in an emergency. It is the supply and demand. We accept it or not. But the hotel owner has a responsibility and a minimum charter to respect!

It's a scam!

We stayed one night in this hotel. The keys to the room are in a box at the entrance to the hotel. You have to put your reservation code in it to get the box open and therefore the key. That day the owner was present so it was he who checked in. We also received two 24-hour bus tickets. The room was clean. There were laundry, soap, toilet and brushes as well as a terrace. We were able to put some of our skis in the place. We didn't eat at the hotel so finally I can't find anything to comment on this. There is a bus stop at the hotel's check-in.

You have to be aware that this is an old sanatorium building that hasn't been renovated for at least 40 years. There is a small kitchen with a cardboard dish and some pots, enough to cook coffee and to make noodles with sauce. So it's unbeatably affordable for Davos conditions, since you can also save outdoor food. The whole house, however, is very bright, squeezing beds and everything else is getting old. But very clean, purposeful, bright and warm, we felt comfortable! A welcome variation on the modern service-oriented all-round servers.

Disappointed

Note: This is not a hotel, but a hostel: there are no main meals available, such as breakfast, etc. Note (2): Although Davos Horlauben is close to the OV connection, there is a height difference to be avoided. - Plastic dishes + storage in the living room - relatively ringed walls + clean rooms + beds + comfortable room temperature (warm heating) and well insulating windows + good wireless coverage + almost painkiller-free articles (Engrosserst, linens, tortillas, etc.) are available.

Price/performance ratio is not really true

Great accomadation and very reasonably priced 👍🏻would definitely go back here. Has all the self-catering amenities you could want.. They provide coffee,milk, pans plates etc...and they also provide cakes,chocolate,savoury snacks everyday 😜👍🏻
