One WE, my back hurt. The last day, I checked the bedding: worn and deformed bedding, huge stains on 50% of the surface. IMMONDE!! The bathroom: shower connected to the sink tap. It's actually a water net. The window doesn't open. I asked for compensation which I was denied.

It's dirty!

This is the worst hotel I've have ever stayed at in my life without a doubt. The hotel reception blonde guy was beyond rude. The rooms are tiny, and the bathroom is like a wet room but not, basically they can't be asked to put a proper shower in, so when you shower the water leaks into your room. Literally creates a puddle in your room. 

Oh and don't close your door but leave the lock closed if you don't have your key, because the crazy reception guy will have a go at you and say you're ruining the hotel doors. The breakfast... well there might as well not be one. I had bread with jam and it was hard bread at that. So after paying for breakfast I then went out to buy breakfast....

 I asked for another room key because I couldn't find mine and he was just rude and again complained I had to shut the door properly. 

I don't know why anyone would consider booking this hotel after seeing these reviews. I highly recommend you don't. 

Absolutely awful. Would of had better service in a tent from a badger.


Doesn't even deserve ONE STAR!!

horrible unbelievable extremely rude staff. bad communications weak Wi fI....and you have to ask about it,and they change password without announcement...so you have to go and ask for new one. warning signs every where that you may be stolen and hotel not responsible. really a lot of things i have to say and all with pictures and evidence that i lost my money in reservation that hotel and they made my visit to Sweden very bad

the worse hotel ever on earth ....please do not go.

Small room with no real room amenities. Very narrow, plugs were on other side of the room to the bed. The shower was powerful but as it was a wet room, this just leaked into the hall of the room - so get extra towels to lay down outside of the room. 

Bedding was itchy. 

Hotel did have a sauna you can book so it is private which is fantastic and by far the best part of the hotel. 


For the price it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either 

The best thing - it's clean and conveniently located (direct train to/from Arlanda - use the Upsalla train, 120 Kr.). Modestly priced too. For the down side: the rooms are tiny, but if you've stayed at some budget hotels in Tokyo or Paris, you won't be shocked - such rooms happen. An electric tea pot was graciously given to me when I asked for it, a plus in my opinion too. If I'm back to Stockholm on my dime and alone, I'd stay there again. In any other circumstance, perhaps not.

Clean, budget-oriented place, tiny rooms, good location.

The two good things about it are that it is clean and its location (around 500m from Medborgarplatsen metro station)

Should i name the bad things about this so called hotel?
- tiny narrow room (actually prison cells in Swedish prisons are larger)
- wifi connection is worst than awful (i have a screen shot of the speed)
- breakfast is not included in the room's price 
- no fridge in the room
- even thought the room is tiny as a nutshell the available sockets are far from the bed (one is at the entrance so it is useless unless you want to put the cellphone on the ground for charging and most probably step on it and the other is behind the tiny table or chair making it hard to access)

The worst place i have ever been at

Honestly, the hotel is sad and outdated. It feels more like a guesthouse than a standard hotel. The room is basic and the bathroom is very clean, with a shower that almost doesn't fit. The wifi connection worked very well. I have to say I forgot a notebook and they recovered what I am extremely grateful for, but the hotel itself, except for its location, is not worth it.

Hotel cutre

It's a nice place to explore the stupid corners and close to the old town on foot 25' but frankly not terrible hotel, old man, view of a construction site, miserable or even odious welcome. Not cheap for Stockholm but better to wait 5 days before for the breakdowns of the beautiful hotels rather than endure this one!!! I had the misfortune to ask for an iPhone charger they loaned me for 2 hours. My phone wasn't charged at midnight they didn't want to leave me at night I got screamed at by the night watch to bring it back.

Not nice at all!!!!

The hotel is located in a good location in the city, convenient to public services. The structure is mediocre, dated in the furnishings. The room was on the street front, so noisy. The cleaning was desirable, on the furniture in the room there was dust. A small bathroom, with shower that, once the water opened, fed the whole floor. The bed was comfortable. The wifi, important for travelers, worked only in the corridor and not in the room. Normal breakfast, nothing exceptional, salty and sweet. Cordial staff.

Mediocre hotel

Long dark corridors. The rooms aren't very big but they're fine. The cleanliness could be a little higher. The staff is friendly. The location is also fine. You're relatively fast in the old town. I think the hotel is too expensive for the price. The beds were also a little too soft in my opinion.
