We spent one night in this apartment during our trip to Sweden. Not much to say, pleasant reception, spacious room, clean and well arranged and comfortable bed. There is even a supermarket downstairs of the hotel, very convenient. The only amenities are the water that did not stay very warm for long during the shower and the lack of a hot tub in the kitchen. I recommend this hotel if you are a passenger in the area.

Almost perfect 👌🏻

We had a two-bed apartment with a sauna in the bathroom. The room was big enough, with everything you need. Bedding and towels were provided for us for free. Even though the rooms were to be cleaned outdoors (or can be cleaned for an extra fee), it was nice. A pricey supermarket was right next door. The restaurant we tested 1x successfully ;) and DI was, however, in our travel period of a day. For this, we were able to see the northern lights from our famous balcony:)  We will love it very much, we will miss the peace and the idyll.

It's perfect.

On the way to the Lofoten Islands from Kiruna we found this Hotel / Apartment located in a small village and in a beautiful nature. The room had everything necessary to eat in the room. The restaurant when we arrived was closed. In the morning for breakfast we were able to settle in the small supperette that is inside the hotel. The sheets and handkerchiefs are provided. On waking up the view of the mountains and the lake in the background is superb. Possibility to park his car in front of his room which is very convenient. Other details, the reception is excellent and the person who received us was particularly friendly and a remarkable Frenchman. We will thank him for his hospitality and wise advice cn a friendly carnival. We will obviously return to the mountains.

A room in the wild...

Let me start by saying that this place is a great choice if you are a bed seeking nature lover. It is not a perfect place but you can learn to live with its ups and downs. I start with things I did not like. The rooms are well equipped with two beds and place too cook a meal and shower. From room information given to us we were led to believe that it is suitable for 4 adults. Let me tell you it is NOT. It has just two beds and tiny sofa. However for 2 adults it is very comfortable. You have to clean yourself and given the rather higher price it is quite strange to say the least. And the walls are rather thin. (We did not have a problem with that luckily though). On the other hand I loved free parking space, shop, proximity to nature and great views, quite "modern" equipment... I am coming back, but this time in a smaller group with more rooms :-)

Bed in nature

We spent a week at the hotel in April. The room was small but functional for 4 persons. The view was fantastic.  Kitchen minimal, but ok for basic cooking. Good WiFi. Very convenient with Coop in the same building. The only downside are the fairly thin walls - if someone decides to party, the entire building can hear it. 
All in all a great place, that can easily recommended!

Wonderful views 

We stayed 2 nights, the room wasn't really clean. Don't know if there a checking after "self cleaning". Found a used condom on the floor and the kitchen wasn't that clean too. Also when you have a room downstairs, hope that nobody is in the room right above yours. You can hear everything, the footsteps are like an elefant is going!! Horrible! We had luck and we had a group of guys above our room!! It was a nightmare!!
Never will stay here again!

Horrible stay

We're talking about a rented room, decent, all in all, they have the supermarket that is very comfortable and upstairs the restaurant, with a good kitchen. You have to pay for both sheets and towels and before you go out you have to wash the whole room thoroughly, because there are various detergents to proceed to the cleaning, in case you don't want to do it yourself you can pay 50 euros and have it done to them. The cleaning is not the best, while I was making the bed with the sheets that they had brought me I tried to ignore the mattress and the topper ointment, such as the pillars that luckily were to be burned inside the pillars. We stopped here because it was the only free place near Abisko.

Decent

Very pleasant and sufficient apartments. Clean and with very comfortable beds. A step from Abisko National Park and 40 Km from Narvik in Norway to see the fjords.Although the reception and the restaurant are closed, we had no problems getting the keys through text codes. And the best thing was to be able to see the long-awaited dawn from right next to the apartments.There is a supermarket in the same building that you can find everything.

Perfect for seeing auroras and visiting the area.

The Katterjok Apartments are located in Risk Grunds, on the Swedish side of the border on the E10 from Narvik to Kiruna. Riksgrunds is a popular winter sports destination, in the summer there is very little going on here. The apartment building is quite new, below a small supermarket, very practical; above a restaurant, which closes at 6 p.m. in the summer, however. The apartments are small, but modern and conveniently furnished. What you need is: a good bathroom, a small kitchenette, everything well maintained and clean.

Good stopover between Norway and Sweden.

Katterjokk is a very nice apartment hotel. 
The room are spacious and very well equipped. 
The restaurant of the hotel is very nice and good (try the Burgers !) & the staff lovely.
There is a minimarket @ the 1st floor, where you can find all what you need, very pratical. 
Don't miss the outdoor Jacuzzi & Sauna, where you can have a good drink after a full day ride in the moutains.---> What more ?
