This huge campground on Dragso island on the far side of Karlskrona is a resort in itself. Plenty of entertainment for all including kids play areas, swimming, kyaking, biking, hiking and crazy golf. The site is big enough that even when busy (we were there over midsummer weekend when it was full) there’s not a feeling of being cramped. If being close to service facilities is important book your site carefully. We were around 350 metres from the closest toilet which may seem ok at 3 pm but seems an awful long way at 3 am or in the rain. Services were well maintained and reception staff very friendly and helpful. A good stay.

Huge campground

The campsite area is more beautiful and secluded. Baths are a bit far away but well worth it. 5 minutes by car from downtown. Very clean services. Ultra-kind staff. C e refrigerator, microwave and dining room x dining room.

Great location and super clean.

Newly built 2 floor cabin suite with all the modern amenities you could ask for, such as air condition, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower, etc. The cabins all have their own hard-deck patios and a parking spot just outside. However, they are situated a bit to close together which results in inefficiently soundproofing and some noise from the neighbouring cabins. 

The camping site offers several different activities and has a local sport fishing camp which has weekly pike-fishing trips. At the end of the trip, the boat that caught the longest pike gets the bragging rights and a special price!

Modern seaside cabin suite

This is a very nice location for a camping and great for kids, many activities.  If you need peace and quiet maybe you should go somewhere else.  The service buildings have varying standard, the best one is the "Central" one, which is kept after very well. Good bathing opportunities. Great cycling distance to central Karlskrona, only a 15-20 minute ride.

In the archipelago

Day three is over and now let's see what Dragsø and the waters have to offer, a well-kept, slightly overcrowded campsite embedded in nature! Fishing and enjoying nature so that the day can end! After the quiet night in the early hours, first take a bath in the sea and then quickly get fresh bread at the kiosk, so it can go on!

From Leipzig to the North Cape

The campsite is located on a small island shared with an adjacent small recreational harbor and an idyllic community of garden houses, often pictured on local postcards.

We stayed a week in the onsite cabins and had an absolutely amazing time. The camping site is located shy of 2kms outside the town center and easily accessed by boat, car, bike and even the resident tourist tram. The cabins had one room with two bunks, and the living room has a fold-out sofa bed. There is a covered deck where we enjoyed some of our meals. Each cabin has its own bricked BBQ. There are two parking spots next to each cabin.

The camping site has good facilities including, several beaches, playground, miniature golf, canoes and paddleboats available to rent. The local restaurant (Havsviken) offers tasty foods for affordable prices; however, the pizzas left us disappointed. The restaurant also has occasional music quizzes, karaoke, and live music which are all very popular - make sure to book your table in advance! There is also a neighboring convenience store which offers the need-to-have basis if you've forgotten something at the town supermarket.

Lots of things to do for the adventures child - kids club, quiz- and ghost walks (with prices), playground and lots of friends. There is also an enchanted forest with garden nomes and trolls that spring to life once the sun has set.

Great camping site on a small idyllic island

We stayed at this campsite for two nights. The campsite is relatively large and spacious, so it is important to see where you are staying and where the nearby facilities are. The campsite has several children's play areas with outdoor play areas. Bathrooms and clean kitchens. The town of Karskrona is about 3km away, a nice walk of 30-40 minutes

Good campsite with good infrastructure

Its a beautiful location, but definitely not for those seeking peace and quiet.
When its full its so overcrowded, which means the toiket and shower facilities are pushed to the limit.
Despite booking a tent pitch 5 weeks in advance, our booking was messed up and we were given a tiny pitch on a corner between a road and a path that led to the toilet waste disposal!
The plot has a tree in the middle and as a result you can only use 2 metres due to "regulations" .
We pointed out that we had a large family tent and wete told to locate it right on the edge of the road. 
With no other option we did this only to be told once set up to move it by half a meter. Another hour of setting up.
I pointed out to the owners son David thst the plot wont fit a tent of this size to which he told us " yes, its the worst plot here, and if your tent doesnt fit then you can leave"
This was in front of crying kids, but he really couldn't care less. 
Basically the worst customer service i have recieved in Sweden.
I live in Sweden and camp regularly, but wont waste my time returning here to be mistreated. 
Very poor indeed!

Dragso..... Dont go!

The campsite is super situated and has a good infrastructure but it's too crowded, the squares are too narrow, especially the exceptional mini-golf course, but it's also very crowded, just too many people in the square.

Good location but much too full

The square certainly benefits from its excellent location and the beautiful evening or night view of Karlskrona. The city can be reached quickly by bicycle, rental wheels are abundant. Playground/room for children. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are no longer up to date and suffer quickly from the fullness of the square.
