My wife and I stayed here for a few days- and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The setting is wonderful, the camp is surrounded by wild animals just walking around naturally, the staff are very helpful and the food at the restaurant for vegetarians is fine. We went horse riding on one of the days and it was lovely to be able to get very close to the animals. The Lodge we stayed in was large, comfortable, with good electricity and Wi-Fi and fantastic views

Fantastic location, good food for vegetarians, lots of wildlife

We stayed in a beehive, which was rather dark en basic.  We didn't even have a seat, not inside and not outside. The restaurant provided only buffet because there was a large group, so we could not choose our own food. Staff is friendly. Location is beautiful.

Stay in beehive

When you visit eSwatini, you would want to stay in a traditional "hut" and that is what I got to stay in for 2 nights at this beautiful sanctuary. Our tour group arrived late night so i didn't realise what was around me until the next morning.

There are wildlife (antelope) all around the restaurant area. Monkeys conducting their monkey business and the odd bosvarkie enjoying the ongoing fire. 

The sanctuary is also about hiking and enjoying the mountain air. It gets cold here, and went, however, the huts were lovely and toasty inside.

Wifi is available at a fee and is only accessible close to the reception area.

Lifetime Travel Highlight

A rather big sanctuary and lodge catering for lot of big groups. Nice beehive huts gathered in a kraal. Nice surroundings with lots of antilopes, zebra, birds, crocodiles, turtles and warthogs. Nice and helpful staff. Wifi vouchers 50 rand a day at reception and restaurant. Good and not to long hike trails. Big pool. Activity by horses and bikes. Nice entertainment by local dressed performeres by logfire.
Suggestions to improve the experience:
- Add some inside chairs to sit on after dark
- Divide the food area to get better logistics at breakfast. Make a lone standing egg station off the other food to divide the ques in morning like you have done with coffee.

Large lodge also catering big groups.

Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is a very nice location with a restaurant and a direct view in the river, really a nice place to bo. Unfortunately there are major disadvantages:
- the room was dirty
- the guys at the reception do not give you a feeling of warm welcome 
- extra costs for WLAN (8 Euro per day with a limit of 500 MB) and bicycle (8 Eur per hour per bike, no family package).
Finally no recommendation from my side.

Nice location, dirty room, extra costs

I spent two very good days at the lodge. Because of the road conditon it was not possible to visit the game park but just waiting for animals at the pool it was a great experience. The lodge, the room (no electricity but so quiet) and the staff was perfect.

Very nice stay

Mlilwane is gorgeous! They don't have the big 5 there but they have some very cool endangered antelopes, zebra and wildebeest. It's great for cycling, hiking and horseriding, and the animals almost seem tame because there are no predators. The reservations team are slow and really not the best (they got very confused over our booking and didn't seem to know who we were when we were emailing, even though the same person emailed us every time).

Great experience to sleep, walk and bike in the environment of the zebra's, pumba's, antelope and kudu's. Great restaurant and a lot of nice staff is working at Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Thanks for taking good care.

Great experience

Our beehive backed onto the campsite and there were some very loud people there, slamming doors and shouting at 5 in the morning.Which was a shame because apart from that it was very good. Fantastic bird life in the park and the restaurant was a nice place to sit. Breakfast was good, dinner was average as it was a buffet. Great dance exhibition put on by the staff.

Generally very good

We stayed for 1 night in a beehive. It was very nice and comfortable experience. After arrival we did a nice hike through the park and saw a lot of different animals and birds. Before dinner there was a traditional dance and it was fun to watch. Very recommendable place to stay.
