We refused and offered us for an additional fee other rooms that were similar to those that were declared when booking, we paid an additional fee. We needed to pay immediately for 6 nights+ tax. The rooms also did not match the claim, the bed was dirty, asked to be changed, the rooms were dirty, there was no fae, toilet paper, toiletries, toiletries, toiletries, he didn't grab the files from the family room until tomorrow morning. We asked him for a phone call, we would have called him at the same time as tomorrow night, but he said that he had no problems with the toilet paper and he didn't find any money from the rest of the city until tomorrow night.

I booked my first two nights stay in Sri Lanka at Hoja villa. Was looking forward to staying because of its location, quality of rooms and balconies. However I was greeted by the owner (possibly) at the junction of the main galle road and told that the hotel was not available. Instead I was taken to an air bnb rental called summer green. The reason for this was because renovations had overrun at hoja villa. I cannot verify this because I never saw inside of the accommodation. Very disappointed that I couldn't stay there.

Under renovation? Or fully booked?

In 10 years, Sri Lanka was the worst. dirty, breakfast laughing, restaurant??? they didn't even have water, curtains grey, even the two guys who practiced the service there were dirty. We had booked 12 nights and fled after one night. At booking.com they got an 8.2 rating, I think they write these themselves.

This is unacceptable!

I loved the place and its so quite and clam I would recommend for travelers Villa got double room, deluxe double rooms also sharing based rooms close to beach and its a small drive to Hikkaduwa main town and to to the pub

Good Place to Stay

We visited this lovely place in November with a few friends. Located a few meters from the beach, it is a very quiet and very clean place. Upon arrival we were offered a Chinese tea that the host prepared for us. It was very pleasant to arrive after the bus/train trip from Ella and have this reception. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. We chose a room with three beds. All rooms have mosquito nets. The kitchen is spacious and equipped so that if you want to prepare something to eat. If you're traveling for a while and need to wash, you can use the washing machine and dry the clothes in the huge backyard of the house. The breakfast is not abundant but there is plenty of snacks, plenty of fresh seafood, plenty of coffee, and plenty of fruit/flavour.

Very comfortable accommodation, very attentive host and a few meters from the beach.

for a guesthouse it is quite an expensive one compared to some other guesthouses in Hikkaduwa. However, it is a little walk from the main pubs and bars at the beach (so not even best location) and the rooms are not worth the money. No closet in the room, lots of mosquitos, just one plug and very thin walls. Also you have to share your bathroom with other rooms. We were also disappointed by the staff and the breakfast.
It can be a nice place but then they should definitely decrease the rate of the rooms.
