This a very good place to stay. Everything is clean, there is a good bathroom in really good conditions and Medis or his son Xanu will help you with anything you may need.
The place is close to the city.

Nice & quiet place

A small guesthouse with a very friendly manager, who will not hesitate to give you advice and addresses in Kandy. 10 minutes walk from the city of Kandy, quiet, with air conditioning, fan and wifi. The condition of the rooms was very good, bath towels can be a little dusty. A nice place to stay quietly near this noisy city! ;)

In the quiet near Kandy

Found this hotel at the last minute when arriving at Kandy. Family run hotel with basic room facilities. Private bathroom with hot shower. Our room has lovely views of the hills and it’s really pleasant to hear the birds chirping in the morning. We were able to spot a few different types of birds with our binoculars. Breakfast was tasty. Hosts are friendly, welcoming and pleasant. They prepared welcome tea for us which was well appreciated. For improvement, we would suggest for hotel to change to newer bedsheets and towels. Overall, would recommend the villa if you’re not looking for anything fancy. Walk a few minutes to the main road for lunch/dinner and take a Tuk Tuk back.

Simple hotel with lovely view for bird watching

Thusitha from Sri Lak view in Haputale recommended me to stay at this place while i was in Kandy and he was aboslutely right. Angela and her husband are the best in this place. The room we had was really nice and clean. You are close to the center but not in the center and it's great to be away from the noise of the city. Really good stay during Perahera.

Angela and her husband are lovely and good tips for visits to kandy! The room was clean, hot water and air conditioning! The place is perfect for being quiet and not far from the center (10 min)

A Peaceful Place

The location of the guest house is ideally located, in the heights of Kandy, quietly 5 minutes walk from the Temple of the Tooth and 10 from the city center. When we arrived we enjoyed the place: nice exterior with a view of nature, tenant that looked nice. But the rooms are really small, dark and the bed... I could have slept on the floor it would have been the same! For the night at 20 euros it is expensive for what it is. Then we realized that the tenant was really winding, meaning every day we had a new thing: tuktuk tour with his driver, ayurdiki one of his, all of us he asked if we wanted to see the pins in the evening, and so in the evening he had planned to visit our friends in the towns of Bref, and he had planned to sell us some positive massage points, and he had tried to give us some positive points in the last few days!

Well-placed but not top bedroom

The Green Villa is a very good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of candy in the evening. You can do this on foot, but the best way is by tuktuk. You completely forget about the city here when you enjoy the peace and the view of the forested hills. The monkey groups that pass by emphasize the nature of nature. The owner likes to sell extra offers (just take the ones you really need), but also has good free tips and philosophical to offer. The rooms are large, bright and pleasant.

Home in the Green

Guesthouse cheap, useful to clean up seeing the prices in Kandy especially during the holiday. Small room without air, nice frame, nice owner but a little invasive :) We were able to use the services of a driver (guest employee) who was really very good, kind, helpful. We did Kandy, dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa in 1 day (taking our time and arriving at 8pm) So when we arrived, the owner called me back to tell me to pay more because the driver had to sleep on the spot (which was not planned in the departure deal) He told me that we had done all the time we wanted.
