I've been to many Ayurvedic courses in different places in Sri Lanka. What I particularly like here is that it's not in German hands, but run by locals who are very hearty and hardworking. The very well-trained massage therapists and therapists give everything. I lost a large part of my cell in a short time, lost weight, and after 3 weeks I felt like a newborn panchakarmakur. The food is good and the beautiful beach is only 5 minutes away. I also liked that you can move freely, in 5 minutes you're in a lively place. I had a romantic flower garden with a view to a stream.

The most beautiful and friendly Ayurvedic hotel I know!

General: Infrastructure has fallen - has experienced better times already staff: incapable of communicating incentives. So no improvement in the situation. Are well done - that's it! Eating: salting. Incapable chefs who are unable to use salt instead of spices to cook with Ayurveda: so la la treatment. Who is seeking the right treatment is wrong this year.

Disastrous - never again

Beautiful location. Good rooms. I was there room only.therefore cant comments for the food.
Only issues is front office. Communication is bad. 

This hotel can take next level easily with good staff.

Take this comment as a positive and develop the hotel.

8 days at Aida Bentota

We had a very nice, relaxed stay in the facility. The treatments, the rssens, the rooms, everything was fine. But the best was our personal TuckTuck Driver's School. Here his number: +94 77 747 7817 Manschool speaks excellent German and a very honest skin. It was always a great pleasure when he took us to the secret places around. Whether to look for turtles at night or to look for the best jeweller. This is your man 😀

It's a beautiful place.

This establishment is a very luxurious and comprehensive establishment (with many activities on offer). It offers quality rooms with quality services. The restaurant overlooking the lagoon offers a very good cuisine with the best views of the locality of Bentota/Aluthgama. It is a well-known and recognized establishment for the quality of its Ayurveda care and tranquility.

When I arrived in Sri Lanka, I was completely stressed, and I found myself in Aida. A great help was Dr. Aruna Bandara, who lived and practiced in Germany for many years. It was also very pleasant that he could explain his treatment in German. Even though the hotel is not on the sea, it was the right place for me because I was there on foot within a few minutes. I would like to thank the loving staff and especially the trained and loving therapists.

Although the Aida Hotel is not directly on the beach, it is within walking distance. The Ayurvedic treatment and the food are of high quality. The hotel is mostly visited by German speakers and has a lot of regular guests. All in all, everyone is very helpful. The doctor is also always available during the day and can respond quickly. The main house has the better rooms than the Riverside.

We were coaxed in by the owner on a walk from our hotel.  We were so hot and thirsty and there wasn’t much around in the way of cafes/restaurants so thought we’d give it a try.  Very pleasant setting over the lagoon and delicious food. We were pleasantly surprised. Great food and service.  Salad was so delicious as was the club sandwich.  It’s not somewhere we would have gone into as it’s not obvious that the restaurant exists.  All you see are gem stores! Would definitely visit again.  

Great lunch

We can not describe how lucky we were to spend two nights in this resort. The first thing you face is a highly welcoming co-operative dedicated staff with infectious enthusiasm to please you and serve you. The location on the lake makes it a wonderful place for those who seek romantic atmosphere or a highly tranquil site. Rooms are surrounded by gardens with birds singing. The restaurants offer varieties of dishes suitable for every taste but mainly traditional delicious Sri Lankan dishes which tastes authentic. The site is close to the town if you were interested to have a walk and make some shopping. Free Wi-Fi is available. It is highly recommended. It was our first visit to Sri Lanka and we decided to stay in this site when we come back

Fantastic site! Excellent staff, Excellent location. Delicious healthy food

I was there for two weeks for  panchakarma which I book through Spadreams. Treatments lasts for nearly two hours daily with Ayurvedic medicine prescribed by doctor. I found the treatments are more like normal spa and not panchakarma which I was quite disappointed. Food was ok more variety would be great. Staff in dining room are super nice very polite and take your requests attentively.  Room boy were good but a bit much on tip hunting. The manager who never walk around to greet guest and whose duty is to say no on any special request from customers. For example we all receive free seafood dinner plate from the hotel restaurant which is located on the other side of the building on our last night. As a vegetarian I requested to change seafood for a vegetarian meal (they have lots of veg pasta / noodles dishes on the menu) and he said NO if I want vegetarian food go back and have my Ayurveda food. Then I ask if I could change seafood plate for fruit juice and he said NO. To me this doesn't make sense at all. He just refused without reason. Quite upset with him and I feel sorry for the hotel too. In the end the guest relations officer help me talk with him and I was able to get my juice but the manager ordered me to have it in my room and not in the restaurant this time I was furious and Insisted to have juice in the restaurant as it has got great view. My fellow traveler who checked out earlier had problems with the manager too. The resort is not on the beach but about 300 meters away.
